Quote:If Bernie loses, the squad and Bernie will all support the democratic candidate.
Yes, that is exactly what will happen. No one who is rational believes otherwise. Because Bernie and AOC, Pressley Omar and Tlaib show every evidence that they are sincere and honest in their position and their speech. If Warren loses, or Biden, or any of the others, they too will do the same.
Quote:While you and your ilk will just bitter yourselves into another four year coma.
Lash's "ilk" needs to be differentiated from those named above.
Lash's game here, consistently, has mostly been to attack, slander and denigrate the Dem party and every candidate other than Bernie. Sanders doesn't do that. Warren doesn't do that. AOC doesn't do that. None of the others do that. She pretends she represents the community of progressives. Clearly, given all the above, she doesn't represent them at all.
She pretends also to represent Sanders' supporters. And that too is a lie. For example:
Quote: In 2016, Bernie Sanders described the Working Families Party (WFP), a grassroots progressive organization, as “the closest thing there is” to his “vision of democratic socialism.” The group endorsed him in his primary race against Hillary Clinton, and it’s grown more powerful in the past three years, as it has sought to build a multiracial populist movement nationwide. But this time around, with Sanders taking another shot for the White House, the group is throwing its weight behind someone else: Elizabeth Warren. The group’s surprising decision could be an early indicator of how progressives—including those who backed Sanders in the past—are planning to organize and vote next year.
“The political conditions are different” in this election, Maurice Mitchell, the national director of the WFP, told me earlier this week, after the group announced that Warren defeated Sanders in a vote of WFP members and leadership, earning 61 percent compared to Sanders’s 36 percent.

This isn't to say that Lash is alone. There is a crowd within the larger community of Sanders supporters who are saying, for example, that if Warren is the candidate, they'll vote for Trump instead. They are very active on social media and Lash repeats much of what they spout. We know this is exactly the same game played by Republicans in the Obama/McCain race (claim Obama stole the nomination from Hillary, then set up active social media projects to disaffect Dem women and/or get them to vote for McCain).
This cycle, that chorus is multiplied by Russian trolls, using many thousands of fake identities and bots over social media. They count on people being poorly informed and misinformed. They count on paranoia and tendencies to accept conspiracy theories. Do they convince some people? Sure. And that happened in the Obama/McCain case as well.
That's Lash's crowd. That's her game.
But none of the people she claims to admire will have anything to do with what these bad actors are up to. Except, as we know, Jill Stein and Gabbard.
