Hey, everyone!

"An exciting group encounter can inspire you to move on towards whatever objectives mean the most to you, whether they are your own or the group's. Public acknowledgement of your efforts is likely to be coming your way. You might also be feeling especially loving towards others - and especially romantic and sexy with regards to that special someone in your life. This shows promise of becoming a very stimulating day, Drom. Make the most of it!"

Sounds a damn sight more user friendly than mine, Drom! Sounds good! I hope you're not too tired after all that stimulation. Laughing

(Hey, is avatar a photograph of you? I'm impressed!)

So, how stimulating was it? I don't think it seemed to be particularly interesting for you, baby sitting...
Perhaps it was the oh-so-stimulating MSN conversation with me?? Smile <preen>

My daily horoscopes have all been dead wrong lately... yours any good, Olga?

YES YES YES!! Very Happy
Mine looks interesting, for the coming week. Mine and Piffka's, of course:
Be true to you
There is a Full Moon in your very own sign on Wednesday, which may encourage you to be even more of a comic than you are already. You will either make everyone laugh, or cause them to tear their hair out - one or the other. But Venus also opposes Pluto in your sign, so it is possible you might drive someone mad. It will probably be the person you live with, or if you are lucky enough to have one, your long-suffering partner. Relationships need tender care on this day, and for much of the week. It might be too easy to get wildly emotional and promise the earth, then decide you can't be bothered shortly after. You may also find yourself backtracking when it comes to love, as an old flame or previous partner walks back into your life, to your utter astonishment. There are many possible scenarios, but what you don't want to do is commit yourself to anything that isn't going to really work for you. At the same time, don't promise the earth, and then run off too scared to contemplate the awful future you have created for yourself. Finances may continue to be a little stretched, but with some creative application you should see an improvement soon.

No, it's not a photograph of me, Olga; it's a picture of Emily Brontë; but she and I look 90% similar-- our noses are different, mine is rather flat.

As for the day: No, not really! I did have two long and stimulating conversations-- one with our very own Clary, and one with my best friend who is, very similarly to me, called Anna.. the rest of the day was completely unremarkable...

What's your horoscope for today, you two? I hope that it is, as you said, more 'user-friendly!' I'll just go check mine... my computer keeps on losing the ability to copy and paste spontaneously, which is really annoying; so, I'm trying to avoid losing plenty of comments...

You're right on target in terms of where you need to be and the direction you are headed in, Drom. There is an expansive feeling in the air today that is urging you to simply be yourself. Everyone you meet is validating your exuberance and zest for life. Synchronistic events are likely, as you find yourself always in the right place at the right time. Things are coming together in your favor, so make the most of this day.

I'm not sure whether this is referring to to-morrow GMT or to-day; to-day was really awful... it involved helping my really old grandmother, and judging a German translation of Fear and Trembling by Soren Kierkegaard... the stupid thing is that I can only compare the German translation to the English one; they should have got someone who spoke Danish to do it...

So, what's up? I hope that, if you keep getting atrocious horoscopes, you can defy the stars with me... (for better or worse Neutral)

Well the trouble with these general ones is their blandness. When is it not appropriate to make the most of the day, for instance?

Like angel cards, though, they can give you a new slant - my angel card for today is TRUTH which is what I have been pondering - to put on Simon's headstone as truth was something of a passion with him - thinking of aphorisms or quotes containing it. Any ideas, people?

The first one that enters my head is: 'to love truth is the principal part of human perfection in this world, and the seed-plot of all other virtues.' The first general line that I thought of was 'Truth in a field now grazes,' but that's so weird.

I'll come back to you with more!

Joe, that is EXACTLY what I have come up with myself, in the course of looking. And because my husband was such a believer in truth and freedom in the political world, I found a website devoted to post-holocaust truthtelling in Latvia which also uses the same phrase - like truth and reconciliation in South Africa. I think the vicar will like it too!

Thanks for reinforcing it Joe!

Clary, my honour, truly.

I believe it is more specifically from John 8:32 :: King James Version.

Perhaps anguishing over "truth" was causing the pain in Simon. But he's free now.

Yes, Margo, I think it was partly that; the truth became unacceptable. But he also had something neurologically wrong, i'm convinced.
