You just don't want to admit they do.
Judging from your demonstrated love of AUTHORITY
presumably, it must have broken your heart when
the nazis and the commies went out of business, right??

@giujohn,
Without an agency tasked with collecting taxes and enforcing the tax code others wouldn't be paying their taxes which would put a larger burden on you.

Unless you want to argue that you get nothing from the government.

Wow David. Do you really think all government is that authoritarian. Did you really practice law under such a system?

No; not "that" much, as u put it,
but it partakes of the nature of authority.
Personal liberty and the jurisdiction of government
are INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL.

@OmSigDAVID,
It seems to me that government intrusion most likely affects minorities, gays and lesbians, women, and voting rights.

Otherwise, most laws in this country are universal.

What else would a bleeding heart liberal say? It's your script...you're required to say it. It's in your DNA. If you said otherwise you would be kicked out of the club!

@RABEL222,
Being conservative is just playing it straight,
like an accurate accountant; its being orthodox
in applying the rules, without fooling around.

So you are going to argue that you would be completely free if there was no government? You would be able to go anywhere and do anything without fear if there was no government?

You do realize that your statement is disproven by places like Somalia, don't you? Government is more like a bell curve when it comes to freedom. It is not inversely proportional and never has been.

YES, tho not free of gravity nor of baldness,
but free to do what u want, subject of course
to the defenses of your nabors.

I remain fearless.

Yes, I don 't,
but I will listen to your evidence.

enjoy thinking that way.

@parados,
I advocate the progressive constriction,
curtailment, diminution, & stenosis of the jurisdiction of government.
I exhort popular adoption of the mosquito fart theory of government,
wherein the jurisdiction of government is akin to the progressively lessening rectal stench
of that bug, in the distant background of American life, with which few Americans have contact.

Congress shud adopt an amendment to the American Flag to show a flatulent mosquito
cowering in its left lower corner, to represent the jurisdiction of government.

@OmSigDAVID,
Then the large corporations with their private armies can do away with paying wages at all and opt for the far more economically viable system of slavery.

Who's going to stop them?

@izzythepush,
Note, incidentally, that I do not advocate ending the US Army.
I am not an anarchist. We need powerful national defenses.
