Back to the matter of censorship. I also like the open forum, and community moderation (aka, thumbs). There's other stuff I don't like, but that is like life, and there are potential opportunities for groups in the future that will have their own guidelines.

This forum is not a spam lot or a porn palace, and that all takes work. If you really want no censorship, then this isn't the place. My take is that it is as open as it can be.

rarely...what usually happens is what just happened here, I am attacked personally for the sin of voicing an opinion which is not wanted. this is a defensive method of the small minded and small people who have to screen out truth which might upset them. I generally like to play as life is too short to not have fun so I tend to play along. At the moment though I am bored with the game, as well as otherwise occupied. you might have noted that i am here about 1/10 of the time that I used to be. From the sounds of Roberts plans I will be fully gone soon, which will make you very happy I am sure.

He also feels safe in making all of his gay-bashing and gay-insulting comments-- including those he's personally aimed at M&M in this thread and other threads-- because he's hiding behind his computer screen.

He's a bigoted coward who tries to claim that his offensive insults are valid opinions, and that he's the poor victim of everyone else's narrow-mindedness. Not that he's grandiose or self-deluded about such things....

Being able to elicit anger and irritation from others by being offensive, and hostile, and insulting, and downright mean, is not the same as being provocative because you offer well thought out ideas or points of view that are challenging or controversial. His "thinking" always boils down to a litany of his own personal gripes delivered with a smug, heavy-handed dose of his own feelings of superiority and entitlement.

If he's easing himself out of A2K, that's fine with me. I hadn't even noticed that he's been around here less often.

They call it the Gecko festival; it’s held in Gulfport. Mostly a street festival, no real live geckos for Antonio to take home.

I went to the Gecko fest for about half an hour, too damn hot to be walking around!
