Hey guys, there are a lot of us here that don't want to see you go away because of one obnoxious poster. Honestly, this is exactly what the "Ignore" function is for. Use it!

Marco, most of us don't feed him. Some do, usually new people but we have veteran a2kers who think responding is a good idea to counteract him and other posters, lest some newbie think we all agree with his (or others') every post.

Me, I think there will always be people who are repetitively obnoxious and that the feeding is the actual problem, not the particular idiot (etc.). Some of the posters I like most do that feeding, to counteract and show how wise they are. (grrrrrrrr) The 30th time it isn't cute.

As you probably know, this site is essentially participant monitored and it is what we make of it.
Yes, we have longtime volunteer mods - who used to break their necks moderating day and night for literally years on end - and I take it some of them still monitor spam and porn and dns type stuff.
