we've got some hilarious reading on A2K this morning.

That's the main thing Gargle.

What have you got against eugenics? Nature practices it in those species where the male has to compete for the females. I've seen pig farmers in intensive units using feeding troughs not quite big enough for all the pigs. (400 in the shed I saw) so that the weakest few never got food. Shaw's problem was his iron nerves. Even Spengler complimented him on that. You shouldn't talk about Shaw, or any writer, until you have studied his works and his life.

Do you not know that the diabolical cartoon alien is the only position for a true scientist to occupy?

About as much as yours and hawkeye's posts about false rape in the Rape thread, but at least Gargamel's humanity and sense of humor show.

Oh I would think that understanding the problem is the first step is in dealing with it.

Dealing with sexual assaults on colleges campuses for example seem impossible without also being honest enough to openly factor in the large percents of false rape charges being files and trying to reduce them also.

And what the hell does any of that have to do with the right to attack another human being of any sex with a deadly weapon?

It has the hell to do with the fact that she allegedly (she denies this) smashed some glass with a nine iron, not bashed his skull in with a bat. And that Tiger could bench press 11 Elin Nordegrens.

A deadly weapon? Is that why I have to wait 7 days for my new clubs? I thought that was just the standard shipping time. At least I now know why the gallery at the PGA Championship two weeks ago was wearing Kevlar body armor.

You do not need to used a gun or a knife to have an assault by a deadly weapon a baseball bat or a golf club will and have kill people very nicely in the past.

If someone came at me with either I would feel free to used my gun to defense myself instead of having my head crush in.

Below is just one story of the hundreds on google news of a golf club being used as a murder weapon.

Man guilty of Gawcott murder

A 25-year-old man was today found guilty of murdering a woman at Gawcott.

Benjamin Harry Radojevic, of Hillesden Road, Gawcott, was found guilty at Reading Crown Court of the murder of Sally Hingston.

Radojevic was arrested after the body of 67-year-old Mrs Hingston was found in fields outside Gawcott in August last year, hours after she was reported missing by her family, who grew concerned when she didn’t return from her morning walk. A post-mortem examination found Mrs Hingston died from multiple injuries caused by being beaten with a golf club and a video recorder.
Det Chief Insp Peter Vigurs, from the Thames Valley Police Major Crime department, said: “I am very satisfied that we have a verdict for Sally Hingston that is right and fair.

"The court heard graphic details of how Radojevic attacked Sally and of the injuries he inflicted on her before he left her in that field.

"Sally was robbed of her life suddenly and prematurely. Her family and friends are left to come to terms with the loss of someone they loved and to try to understand why she was murdered.

“Radojevic has not told the whole truth and in particular gave no explanation of his motive. Considering all the evidence, it seems clear why he is so reluctant to admit the real reason for what he did.

"As that is something the Crown will ask the judge to consider when sentencing, I will say no more of that. I would like to say two things to the local community, in addition to thanking them for supporting the investigation.

“Sally Hingston lived in the same village as the man who murdered her. Gawcott and the wider community have been shaken by this case.

"I want to re-assure people that, although the details of this case are harrowing and have attracted wide attention, we have to remember that attacks like this are extremely rare.

“Although Ben Radojevic has not been fully honest, there is no doubt that as an adult in his mid-twenties he alone must take full responsibility for the decisions he made and for Sally Hingston’s murder.

"No-one else is responsible and that includes Ben’s family. They live in the same community and are trying to come to terms with this also.

“A tribute to Sally from her family will follow, but I would like to say to Reg, Bruce and Roy Hingston that I admire the courage and dignity they have shown throughout this ordeal.

"I want them to know that everyone who spoke to the police about Sally during this investigation told us how popular and well-loved she was locally and how much people miss her.”

The sons of Sally Hingston, Ray and Bruce, said: “Sally Hingston was a wonderful and popular person to all who knew her. A loving wife, caring mother, doting grandmother and trusting friend. The loss to the family has affected us all in different ways and the loss we all feel cannot be explained in words.

“No verdict can possibly compensate for this loss however the jury’s decision goes someway to seeing that justice has been done. We would like to thank the police and the Crown Prosecution Service for the tremendous work on this case and the support they have offered the family during this difficult time.

"Finally we would ask everyone to appreciate that two families have been devastated as a result of this tragic act and while we believe the correct verdict has been passed on the perpetrator of this act we extend our thoughts to his family who cannot and should not be held in way accountable for this event.

"We would now ask that both families are allowed to continue their respective grieving process in peace.”

Radojevic is due to be sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday.

Thirty millions dollars seem to be more the fair in this case.

Oh please, he GOLFS! If you think $30 million is ok, then I don't understand why you object to $100 million. They're both the same as far as Wood's estate is concerned.

And erections are at the bottom of this story. I sometimes think they are at the bottom of every story of this type. If it wasn't for hurricanes, droughts, earthquakes and such like.

Because thirty millions was the up front agreement not a 100 millions!

Just because he have a lot of money does not mean that others are entitle to it because he would hardly missed it.

@BillRM,
It's called "Negotiations!" If it hadn't been so publicly displayed, or he'd only done it the once, likely she would have stuck to her $30 M... but... it was global news and her lawyers undoubtedly pressed her to go for more, and his likely pressed him to concede. Far be it for him to look like a worse asshole by arguing about MONEY (oh, how base) when his LOVE and FIDELITY were so obviously in question! lol

So, he had to have agreed to this, BILLRM and HAWK, so it's really none of our concern. HE AGREED TO IT!!! End of Story.

True he have a large penis but no balls however if we go by your theory there would be hardly any threads here at all.

Second, because someone yield to extortion does not made it morally right to extorted the person in the first place.

I think you are off here Bill....I think what happened is that Tiger was so used to money buying what ever he wanted that he was the one who pushed money at this chick, thinking that he could pay her off and hold it all together. Remember that he pushed money at the bimbos right at this time, and that several times he was threatened with exposure by the press but he got his corporate bosses to run top cover for him to get the stories killed.

I think what we are looking at is that Elin is smarter than he is, played the game better than he did, but that most of the bloodletting Tiger has endured he did to himself.

Of course he did most of the harm to himself but once more that does not made Elin behaviors correct.

At the very least she could had keep her month shut afterward even if he is stupid enough to shoved money at her without demanding a confidentiality agreement.

@BillRM,
Do you have a link for that accusation? If not, that is a primary example of why Nordegren needed to go public with her story. It won't stop people from spreading lies about her, but at least her version of the story is out there. Woods can go public too if he wants.
