@james203,
When they're young they go for looks, when they're older they appreciate
personality more.

@CalamityJane,
And regardless of age, you can always count on an honest answer from the little darlings.

We don't look for either. We hope for character and smartz, a little self-confidence thrown in.

Are they allowed only one? I'd be nervous to ask which one my missus thinks she got...

@Shapeless,
Don't matter. If you're smart, they tell you you are good looking. If you make a mud fence look good, they tell you how smart you are.

It's that first 'spark' - if it aint there, it doesn't happen. (However, the 'spark' can come later in the relationship)

You should be able to google this question and get the 'young' set answers.

Turn-offs are more evident. An article I read said that turn-offs for young men seeking a young woman are "poor hygiene, getting too drunk, and too many cats."

The older set looks for money and comfort. Looks get less important.
Common interests and liking the same food helps.

We don't have the energy to put into any game playing. It's just too exhausting. The young tend to like it. I guess it's exciting for them.

@sullyfish6,
I agree with that elusive "spark," whatever it is, but I disagree with looks. I have my own complications around the issue of looks . . .but . . .I just wish the 60+ set had a little self care and grooming.

what I look for in a man is his shoes. I may be old fashioned but I still believe shoes make the man.

@dyslexia,
Smile

I always check for nasal hair, very first thing. I man who keeps his nasal hair properly under control has got his priorities right!

@msolga,
I saw hair in my husband's ears last week, and I had a fit!

@Pemerson,
Really, Pemerson? Smile

(I was kidding about the nasal hair. It sounded good at the time.)

It all depends on what the man's supposed to be for.

"What do women look for in men Personality or Looks?"

Yes.

And loyalty. And kindness. And good taste. And a regular income. And most of all, a killer sense of humor. (Not necessarily in that order.)

@roger,
We had a bunch of Seikh engineers that worked for us and the had very tailored nose hairs that were trained to grow among the hairs of their very coiffed moustaches. Lotsa wax and pomade was used "Dapper Dan" I believe. They dont use no "Fop", they were DAPPER DAN guys.

I think the theory is you're supposed to trim them & pull the errant, straggly ones out with tweezers, roger. (Ouch! Ouch! just the thought causes me great pain! Shocked )
