I've controlled my At Fib since my mid forties with one prescription strength potassium capsule each day. My At Fib results from low potassium so daily control works for me.
She can get her K level back up. They can give her a slow K pill . That always worked for me. Only thing is that the damn pills are as big as a football.
It will depend on what other medications she's on. Not a wise move to self Rx .
Likewise relieved that this isn't a back-in-the-hospital thing.
(Also curious to see these potassium-rich lists. I've been eating potatoes at breakfast for the past week, and haven't had the small-back-muscle cramps that have been bugging me at work the last month or two. Very cool...)
Could also have resulted from increased Mg levels.
