No, jokes are funny. Puking up racial stereotypes is never funny.

No Rickles show for you either, Mr. PC.

I say let's hear it for Italian bunnies:

Quote:
MILAN, Italy - Wild hares at Milan's Linate airport seem to have only one thing on their mind, and their excessive mating and growing numbers have blocked takeoffs, landings and radar systems.

Officials on Sunday mounted a daylight raid to keep these furry creatures off the runways, part of a twice-annual capture to keep the airport population under control.

They are Italians, is that OK?!

Perhaps Walter has information on this point from the prostitutes he has met as a social worker.

Well, my job was concentrated mostly on anti-sexistic work (= prostitutes have the same human rights as thers and to make females [and prostitutes] the center of bad jokes just proves how stupid you are yourself]) and AIDS-related.

When customers and prostitutes have problems re paying - they meet at court, like in any other business.

I tended bar in a strip club for a year or two back in the day. Met my very first "real" boyfriend there and dated for three or four years. He was a hell of a good guy. It was a local watering hole. He didn't go there because he respected the girls or because he anticipated screwing them, either. Nobody masturbated publicly…frankly the girls seemed secondary to the beer and the kitchen (they had a hell of a veal sandwich). The music was occasionally terrific and I caught more than one creative act despite the fact most were pretty boring and a few were horror-shows (rug time comes to mind).

I became friends with one of the girls in particular…she was following a family tradition of sorts…her mom was a stripper, too. She certainly had a terrific apartment by my standards of the day…had a boyfriend…a life…didn't drink or drug (I, to the contrary did). I also witnessed a few sharp cookies negotiating their contracts over the period. Very professional.

Sadly many of the girls did appear lacking in social graces…respectability is as good a word as any I suppose, by my standards (though I can't recall disliking anyone), but many of the patrons did, too. I made good money keeping my clothes on, though the girls made great money taking them off. Later I worked as a bartender in a very upscale restaurant. Frankly, I'd take the strip club patrons any day.

As to the original topic question, I'd say that any person (stripper) who gets married and continues working (stripping) needs to be as respectful of her spouse's boundaries as any other person needs to be. Why is that in question?

What a clown. It has nothing to do with political rectitude--it has to do with recognizing that Jews are no more tight-fisted than anyone else, and avoiding making a slur against people simply because one is too dull-witted to think of something better.

How did we get from Strippers alleged intellect to a crime report on Chicago prostitution?

This thread may get the record for tangents (myself included). I need to draw a flow chart 'cause I'm fascinated about the directions the convo takes.

Are you complaining? I'm certainly not.

Not really complaining...just amazed and making an observation. It's all good

Thanks, Thomas (I think). While I did the search I still somehow missed it. I feel sad to see it actually. It' all so tedious when there's just no reason for that comment. Just one more example of sick racist/anti-Jewish crap.

Take off your shoes and smell your feet. Do you find that offensive? I do.

Give me a break, it was a joke. Or, we will just agree to disagree.

I can't give you a break on anti-Jewish attempts at humor...and not on anti-black, etc. Some people don't find it funny. Perhaps because I detect a mean-spiritdness...not sure.

Quite a compliment coming from the king of clowns.

No mean spiritedness intended, it was just a line I picked up from Rickles years ago... a comedian who also happens to be Jewish... maybe that gives him some kind of pass in PC-land, but I don't buy into that.

You really enjoy libeling people (note I didn't say label) don't you? There's laws about that sort of thing.

You don't buy into it, but you're still willing to repeat a racist comment. What is the most pathetic is that you probably don't understand what is wrong with a racist remark.

A Class act! Perhaps an apology would be forthcoming. I'm such and idealist. Can't help myself. I dislike racism..unintended or not. Call it a character flaw of mine.

Honestly I don't care what you think. Political Correctness is pure racism. That you cannot see it boggles my mind. Mr. PC.

If you don't CARE what I think, why are you bothering to reply?

It's not about being PC. How is it that you don't get it? I guess i just don't understand that sort of blindspot.

Again, another character flaw of mine. I'm learning so much at computer camp today.

Political Correctness is trying to kill humor, unless of course you're black, dating a white stripper-ho, and calling everyone a N-word on stage.

But I'm sure the hypocrisy isn't apparent.

I made some decent contributions to the thread and all you folks can do is resort to your typical "cj's a horrible racist" rant. You can't help yourselves, I realize that, but I do feel sorry for the future generations who will have to live with your results of your great experiment in the restriction of free speech.

One thing, I most certainly am not, is an anti-semite.

CJHSA - don't worry about those afflicted with PCitis! Instead: look at post on previous pages about Italian bunnies and get on the next flight to Milan Smile
