A: Sadly, yes Sad The 'Curiosity' rover ran over NASA's spaceship cat 'Tiddles', on Mars... not only ran over 'Tiddles' but backed up and did it again! 9 times!

A. Elephants NEVER yawn out of boredom. They only yawn out of sleeplessness due to their anxiety riddled insomnia. Remember! Elephants can't forget. They remember all the times they misspoke out in public.

@tsarstepan,
tsarstepan - Q. Why do public TV and radio stations in the US have so many on the air fundraisers over a given year?

A: Civic pride! Good community relations! Why, even the minor celebs they inveigle into appearing do it for nothing! ALL the receipts go to 'good works' (minus, of course, those few minimal costs associated with broadcasting and paying for the goodies in the Green Room, in which may be found the Station Manager, all 'off-air' staff and not a few of their relatives)

@P E Dant,
Q: In the grand scheme of things, does it matter if there is water on Mars?

A: Hell yeah it matters! If you ever get lost in space and you need water, and you see a red planet, wouldn't you like to know that there is in fact water there?

Q: Where was Peter Piper picking the pickled peppers from? A bush? A bush that grows pickled peppers? Or was he picking them out of a container of pickled peppers? And why a peck? Why not a bushel? And why have I made this into a list of 7 questions?

A: He stole them from a woman who had lovingly picked and pickled a peck of peppers for her family. But the governor was Peter's Uncle, and the story was whitewashed, so now everybody believes Peter picked and pickled them himself.

You made it into a list of 7 questions because you rightly sensed that something wasn't right about the story.

@P E Dant,
Q: Why are sparrows the only birds in the whole wide world who have water baths on occasion, and dust baths on other occasions?

A: The question of the year. I asked my brother why birds take baths in water and he stood there like I was stupid. Using the logic that they're taking water baths to get clean, then you have to follow it with birds taking dust baths to get dirty. Since this is the wrong answer game, let's say they're like little boys playing in the dirt one minute and a mud puddle the next.

@coluber2001,
Q: Why do insects fly towards lights at night?
A: Insects are rampant drug users. They mostly use peyote and/or LSD at night. If you consumed your body weight in peyote or LSD in the evening, you to would (try to) fly towards all bright lights at night.

@Glennn,
Glennn - Q: When did they first start using apostrophes to show possession?

A: During the trial of Liberties Piperazines... it came to light that he had a system of secret symbols to mark his personal stash as against that of his minions and runners... 'Piper', as he was known among his confreres, used the apostrophe exclusively as his personal mark... once the prosecutors had found his trademark application, they knew they had him cold... c. 1496

@P E Dant,
Q: Why is a white feather a sign of cowardice?

A: Back in the eighteen hundreds there was an Indian village where teenage boys were tested on their courage. They were sent into a barn full of chickens and told that they couldn't come out unless they have a feather from one of the chickens. Some chickens were white and some were brown. The brown chickens were extremely aggressive fighting-cocks, and the white chickens were of a nonaggressive variety. Only the cowardly kids came out with white feathers. We need more of that kind of thing today.

@Glennn,
Q: What do you get if you cross a bigfoot with a dragon?

A: I'm tempted to say a dragon with big feet, but that would be too easy. It may well be a bigfoot with terrible breath.

Q: On that same theme, what do you get if you cross a snake with a centipede.
