Did George Floyd ever threaten anyone's life? Did he threaten the lives of the cops who subdued him?

What about the Columbine massacre?

@JGoldman10,
That book was written by men, not god. Its not accurate history. Its stories and sayings that have been passed down by biased men for 10000 years and not quite as accurate as today's histories.

@JGoldman10,
In the US Justice System, it may take years for the state to execute a death row inmate. Convicted inmates are also given the opportunity to appeal their death sentence, in their hopes to get a lifetime in prison or a lesser sentence.

@JGoldman10,
So, should we enforce what Leviticus 20:9 says and execute everyone who has cursed or disrespected their mother and father?

What about those who commit adultery? It is not a crime punishable by US Law (meaning no one is in jail for cheating on their spouse), but the Bible does say they should die.

And it is my understanding that the coming of Jesus meant that a new covenant was established and Christians were not required to follow the Old Testament rules regarding punishment, slavery, diet, and so forth.

I think you will recognize one shooting that happened in 2009 due to its location. You must have heard about that one.

No. He did not threaten anyone or try to harm anyone.

He did however drop to the ground so that they could not put him in the back of the police car when they were trying to arrest them.

Not exactly. He dropped to the ground and would not let them put him in the back of the police car when they were trying to arrest him.

The god you worship moves the hearts of evil men. Doesn’t that tell you something?

@oralloy,
Then it was time for those four officers to call for backup so they could lift him up and get him into the back of the squad car, since you're implying that four able-bodied men, together, were unable to lift less than 300 pounds.

@jespah,
I agree that they should have called for backup. This is likely what police will do more of in the future.

Although with more cops taking more time to handle each resisted arrest, that does mean fewer cases dealt with by the police every day, and a longer wait time for the police to show up when people need help.

That could be offset with more police hires of course.

@Rebelofnj,
Yes I know about the American Civic Association shooting in 2009. A little Korean man went over to the American Civic Association building and shot up the place and then killed himself.

Glad I wasn't over there or near there when the massacre transpired.

I think the man was frustrated because he couldn't speak English well and people had a hard time understanding him.

There was nothing stopping him from getting speech therapy. He could have gotten some for free.

@izzythepush,
Romans 8:1 - "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Isaiah 54:17 - " 'No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD."

Luke 6:28 - "Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you."

Matthew 5:44 - "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"

I bless you. Stop trying to condemn me.

@izzythepush,
Here is another key Scripture which I forgot to post:

Genesis 12:3 - "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

If you don't want to tell me if you're a Christian or not that's fine. That's your prerogative. I can't make you disclose that.

But if you are NOT a Christian then you have no right or biz trying to tell CHRISTIANS how to act and/or what to do.

You have a lot of nerve.

The Bible says The Enemy knows the Word also.

@Sturgis,
Yeah, he did......but apparently can't resist the opportunity to judge others.....I don't believe Jesus would approve, but some of those who think they follow Jesus are not shy about demonizing others.

@JGoldman10,
You are spreading hate. You are not a Christian. I have every right to condemn hate speech when I see it.

You are using Christianity as a smokescreen for your own bigotry.

You know I’m right otherwise you wouldn’t be reacting in such an extreme manner.

You need to beg Jesus for forgiveness for denigrating his name with your loathsome ideology.
