Did George Floyd ever threaten anyone's life? Did he threaten the lives of the cops who subdued him?

@JGoldman10,
You’re starting to sound like Hannibal Lector.

Serial killers are doing God’s work.

If their victims didn’t deserve to die God would have stopped them.

I guess all the victims of the Holocaust deserved it too.

Do you think the church should make Hitler a saint?

@JGoldman10,
Yes you did. You’re blaming the victims.

You’re saying all these people deserved to die because they didn’t pray hard enough.

@izzythepush,
No I'm not. I'm saying I think God allowed that evil young man to go in the church and kill people because He was not pleased with what was going on in the church.

God calls homosexuality an abomination and He is not pleased with homosexuals being up in the pulpit.

Sometimes when Christians aren't doing the right thing God takes His hedge of protection that's around His children away from them.

My mother has a better recollection of what happened in this church than I do. I will ask her about it the next time I speak to her over the phone.

@JGoldman10,
You do not talk for God. You call Homosexuality an abomination because you’re a bigot.

You are saying that anyone who preaches Jesus’s message of love and tolerance deserves to be killed.

You’re saying George Floyd deserved to be killed because he may have taken some type of drug.

You make a big song and dance about being paler than others of mixed race. Presumably that makes you better than them.

You sound very much the evangelicals who said that God wanted black people to be slaves which is why they were made black in the first place.

I can see why you spend so much time talking to racists online. They have found a kindred spirit.

@izzythepush,
God's ways are not man's ways. A few times when I wasn't doing the right thing God took His hedge of protection that was around me away from me.

The Holy Spirit reveals things to people.

@JGoldman10,
So, you are saying God wants people to kill homosexuals?

Is that how you felt regarding when a shooter killed 49 people at the gay nightclub Pulse in 2016?

Also, you are completely wrong about the Charleston church's stance on homosexuality.

Turns out the African Methodist Episcopal Church has stated that homosexual activity "clearly contradicts [their] understanding of Scripture" and has forbidden its ministers from performing same sex marriages. I cannot find anything about the church being supportive of LGBT rights.

@izzythepush,
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

You were saying?

@JGoldman10,
You know nothing of God, you use your alleged religion to justify your own bigotry.

You make excuses for racist killers and blame the victims.

You’re about as far from Jesus as it’s possible to get.

@izzythepush,
You sir are an obvious athiest or agnostic. If you really are a Christian then you should have no qualms about sharing that with people.

Matthew 10:33 - "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven."

You have never disclosed whether you are a born-again Christian or not.

@JGoldman10,
There are other parts of Leviticus that people routinely break but oddly, people don't follow those passages. They only focus on the ones about homosexuality, but not ones about adultery, despite there being more verses regarding it.

Leviticus 20:9 "Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death. Because they have cursed their father or mother, their blood will be on their own head."

Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death."

Okay I was wrong about that church in Charleston. Thank you for correcting me.

I am still going to ask my mother about the massacre.

@JGoldman10,
You really need to keep up with the news. It was one of the worst mass shootings in US history.

The 4th anniversary of the shooting just happened a few days ago.

@JGoldman10,
Or you could use the internet to find out more about the massacre. You clearly can use it on a daily basis.

I searched "Charleston Church LGBT" to find my answers for it.

Also, the shooter killed those people not because of their stances on homosexuality, but because he was a white supremacist and he wanted to kill black people. He is currently awaiting execution.

@JGoldman10,
It's long past the time for that sort of Old Covenant mentality. As Rebelofnj points out, most of the other 613 laws have been forgotten, rejected, or simply ignored. We don't sacrifice animals anymore, men don't have to be circumcised, people can do anything they want to on the Sabbath. So why hang on to these two stupid restrictions? I think izzythepush might be right — you may have actually allowed your faith to turn you into a bigot. That doesn't sound "christian" to me.

@JGoldman10,
What I believe is none of your business, but you are not a Christian.

What you believe is the opposite of what Christ preached.

He preached love and understanding you preach hate and intolerance.

Leviticus also says you shouldn’t wear clothes of mixed fabrics.

That is every bit as sinful as all the other things prohibited. So if your socks are a cotton nylon mix you are committing a sin.

Unlike you, I don’t think you should be murdered for your socks.

Leviticus also says that if you have a donkey and your neighbour has sex with the donkey then the donkey should be killed for leading your neighbour astray.

Is that what you think? If someone chooses to have sex with a donkey it’s the donkey’s fault?

@izzythepush,
That's just what I'm talking about. You don't want to disclose to anyone whether you're a Christian or not, not just me. I assume you're either agnostic or athiest. You're spewing a bunch of tripe that is not biblical to get a rise out of me.

You are obviously not a friend if you don't want to tell me if you're a Christian or not. You're an acquaintance.

I don't hate gays I hate homosexuality.

I have said this once before. I had a great uncle who was gay. Before he passed he gave his life to Christ and got delivered from homosexuality. I thank God for that.

The Bible says if you love God to hate evil (Psalm 97:10).

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God."

I didn't write the Book.

@hightor,
High you got it wrong. Christians are supposed to accept the whole Word of God- both Old and New Testament. Both Testaments apply to Christians. Christians are not supposed to nitpick and choose what they want to believe. That's what Fundies do.
