@JGoldman10,
You’ve not said anything new. You’ve literally just paraphrased your previous post. Why?

@Sturgis,
Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow."

I still think Trump was wrong to tell people to defy local and state governments. If governments want people to keep their faces covered they should just comply.

@JGoldman10,
So basically this quote from The Simpsons:
"Once something has been approved by the government, it's no longer immoral." - Rev. Lovejoy

Also, Romans 13:2 can be interpreted that any and all kinds of protests against the government are wrong in the eyes of God, as well as saying that all laws passed by the government are fair and just.

Romans 13:3 seems to reinforce this idea: "For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended."

@Rebelofnj,
You're using something from The Simpsons as a point of reference? Seriously?

I almost wanted to laugh the first time I read your post that's not funny.

@JGoldman10,
I can’t help laughing at so many of your posts which are unintentionally funny.

Your post that starts, are you a born again Christian and then goes on to talk about fart fetishism has been put on a comedy website and is currently plus seventy or eighty odd. That’s pretty high.

Before you start complaining identifying details have been taken out.

I hate The Simpsons. I stopped watching that show about two decades ago. If I remember right both of my parents got on my case about me watching it (my dad was around back then, I know for certain my mother didn't like the show) and also I stopped watching it because a lot of the content of that show goes against my beliefs as a Christian. I outgrew it anyway. The show mocks God and the Bible, like Family Guy, and every year they have a Halloween special, which of course I'm against.

The last time I ever saw The Simpsons, or anything Sinpsons-related, on TV was when they did that Family Guy/Simpsons crossover on Family Guy, and when Bart Simpson cameoed in an episode of American Dad and when Comic Book Guy cameoed in an episode of The Cleveland Show. I'm not a big fan of these shows either.

@izzythepush,
How did my post end up on a comedy website? Who reported my post to a comedy website and what comedy website was it put on?

@JGoldman10,
So you hate the Simpsons.

Good to know. I'll continue to make references to the show, then.

@JGoldman10,
Why not? The general audience likes The Simpsons. Just like Frozen.

I'm not going to stop referencing Frozen or The Simpsons just because one person doesn't like them.

@Rebelofnj,
I hate any show that mocks God, Christianity and the Bible. The four animated sitcoms I mentioned have all done that.

The Bible says God is not mocked.

Morel Orel, which I assume was either inspired by Davey and Goliath or was made as an intentional parody of it, was one of the worst animated sitcoms Adult Swim ever aired. It was a show making fun of Fundamentalist Christians. I'm not a Fundie but that was offensive, and I was happy when they ended it.

Black Jesus was one of the worst live-action sitcoms Adult Swim ever aired.

They make the pastors on The Simpsons and Family Guy look like babbling buffoons. They make Ned Flanders on The Simpsons look stupid too.

Does Flanders have a Family Guy counterpart? They probably make him look stupid also.

I think all the major sports organizations in the U.S. and around the world who are insisting on keeping sporting events open in the midst of a pandemic and crisis are out of their minds.

@JGoldman10,
It's about at least two things.

Making money...keep in mind, the players signed contracts and will be paid whether or not they play.

It keeps the people who are now unemployed due to Covid-19 mentally occupied. This leads to less anxiety and happier people.

Many players of various sports and teams, have opted out until next season.
