Ron if you think cleaning a house and cooking is something that comes natural to a woman, you're really in the dark. I happen to like cooking, so that's a plus, but I absolutely hate doing housework and it takes everything in me to push myself to do it.
I am not only single, but I am also a single mom who has taken care of my son his entire 17 1/2 years of life (plus the 9 months I was pregnant) with no help what so ever from a man. This was not a choice as things simply happened this way, but even if the father of my son had been a part of my life, I still wouldn't be his slave.
The things I do for people are things I do because I want to do them, not because it's my duty.
Yes! Montana. If I was your husband I will do it without any doubt. Believe me!
Is that your actual photo too? Montana~!
What would you do, Ron? Would you clean the house, so I could do the things I enjoy doing, like home improvements?
Cleaning may not come natural to me, but all these things you say require a man to do are the things I like doing. I'd rather work and hire someone to clean, so I can do other things.
Yes, that's my real photo.
Montana@! I wil pay all the bills; I will earn enough money (enough) to pay for our necessity; I will raise our children together because I believe this is the duty of both party. I will fix and maintain everything which requires man to do. Basically, home improvements.
However, I will only, and only want u to cook the meals and clean the house. that's all I want from u. And of course, I will demand some honesty and true respect, and most importantly love.
Then, I should say u r a stunning single Mom, too. Are all men in Canada blind???

Can she do it without wearing a burka, or is that a requirement also?
I'll tell you what, Ron, how about I go out and work to provide for the family, do all the home improvements and you can stay home to care for the kids and do all the housework.
How would you like that?

How would u respond to it?
I don't respond well to demands.
HOWEVER - If I were the stay at home mom - and you did all of the above things, then of course I would cook and clean. BUT not on demand.

Thank you and no they are not blind. My reasons for choosing to be single is a long story.
And to add to my post - I am not much of a stay at home person. I worked hard for my degree. I love to work. I'm afraid my "staying" at home would be only long enough to see the children enter school. Then I'm back in the work force. Otherwise I would go bonkers.
Then YOU would be back to cooking and cleaning right along beside me.
yeah, Not on demand, as a husbend, I will never feel comfortable if wife is doing things on demand like a slave. Indeed, neither of us will feel comfortable.
I hear ya Brooke. The first 5 years were the hardest, having to stay home.
Yes brooke! As long as u do cleaning and cooking, u can go out and work, u r not a prisoner.

I think staying at home because you have children to care for would be something I would like. I just wouldn't like it after they entered school and I was home all day by myself.

HUH?

What do you mean as long as I do the cooking and cleaning I can out and work????
LOL! See Brooke, you can go out and work and do all the other stuff too. What a giving guy you are, Ron.
Montana, one thing I can't agree with u on is that wife going out working to pay bills and husband staying home doing wife works.
I am confused, why are u all mad?
