The NRA long ago gave the government permission to restrict bump stocks so long as they did it via executive order instead of legislation.

Adding a pistol grip to a gun does not make it militarized. And unless you can come up with a good reason for banning pistol grips (and you can't), any attempt to ban them is unconstitutional.
Not to mention the fact that wacky unjustifiable bills make it easy for the NRA to successfully oppose the legislation.

You didn't define "big" here, so it's a little hard to gauge what you are proposing, but any capacity restrictions that make self defense difficult will be struck down by the courts if they ever make it past the NRA.
