OK, here's a sentence in Dutch ... it's what Gus cries out at the height of ecstacy when he's speaking in tongues ...

De wereld is een grote klotezooi en we gaan allemaal naar de sodemieter.

(The world is one big f***ing mess and we're all going straight to hell.)

Sorry you feel the way you do about porn, ehBeth.

It is not nearly the devil you see it to be...and in many instances, it is beneficent.

Really.

And any thoughts that people...or humanity in general...is demeaned or made the lesser in any way by its existence....is, in my opinion, ill-conceived.

I like your posts...and I'd really like to prevail on you to give your position more thought.

Ha!

Mostly, I think porn is hilarious. I like watching it the way I like watching, I dunno, the Three Stooges. There was a series that really went with that, each one was introduced by an actual penis that was done up like Senor Wences or something -- drawn-on face, would kinda bounce around while it was "talking". Hilarious.

And the stiletto's. Where's my damn stiletto's?? We ALL wear those to bed now, don't we ladies? And the layers upon layers of makeup and eyeshadow especially? Or I love it when you catch the actors looking over at the director for a cue on what to do next. It's all pretty darn funny, actually. Smile

Check this out.

The Associated Press
Updated: 9:57 a.m. ET Nov. 19, 2004

WASHINGTON - Comparing pornography to heroin, researchers are calling on Congress to finance studies on "porn addiction" and launch a public health campaign about its dangers.

Internet pornography is corrupting children and hooking adults into an addiction that threatens their jobs and families, a panel of anti-porn advocates told a hearing organized Thursday by Senator Sam Brownback, chairman of the Commerce subcommittee on science.

Mary Anne Layden, co-director of a sexual trauma program at the University of Pennsylvania, said pornography's effect on the brain mirrors addiction to heroin or crack cocaine. She told of one patient, a business executive, who arrived at his office at 9 a.m. each day, logged onto Internet porn sites, and didn't log off until 5 p.m.

Layden called for billboards and bus ads warning people to avoid pornography, strip clubs and prostitutes.

Shyt!

Just as I was beginning to think I'd get completely through 2004 without making a single mistake...I managed to confuse ehBeth with Montana.

My apologies ehBeth. I had my head up my ass...and sometimes when I sit the wrong way, I starve my brain of needed oxygen and it screws up my thinking.

Montana...I love ya gal...but the comments I erroneously directed to ehBeth were meant for you.

I am sorry you feel the way you do about porn.

(And I do enjoy both Montana and ehBeth's posts!)

Is there more to come in the way of explanation...or are you going to leave this enigmatic?
