You really are the most pompous idiot on A2K.

You talk a lot of bollocks, so much bollocks, then when it's pointed out you write something like that. With a straight face too!

So I keep hearing. I also get told that the reason I rarely get proven to be wrong is that it is so obvious that I am wrong to be not worth the effort. Firefly said that for about 5 years, then proceed to spend the time to write a few hundred thousand words trying to prove that I am wrong, rarely succeeding. But you Izzy dont even have the stones to try to prove me wrong, all you do is keep throwing out hundreds of unsubstantiated claims that I dont know what I am talking about.

Are you too scared to try? Enquiring minds would like to know.

You're always proven wrong, unerringly so.

@izzythepush,
THe fact that you so often go to just a couple of examples of when I was either wrong or you just think that I was wrong actually indicates the opposite of your assertion. You should have been able to come up with 12 fast examples of where I was wrong. You give us one. Sort of.

And I never claimed to be a God, I only claimed to be right a higher than normal percentage of the time.

BTW: I am actually "wrong" when something that I claim to be true turns out to not be true. "Near Certain" is not an absolute claim of fact. You might what to bone up on your language skills.

@hawkeye10,
You need reminding, not of the few times you were wrong, but of when you were specific enough to be tied down to anything. Most of your stuff is vague paranoid rumblings about women and broken government, it doesn't really say anything.

When you start being specific you fall down.

This is one of my favourites. Hawkeye wrote this the day after the British general election when the SNP swept the board in Scotland winning all but 3 seats.

Left unsaid in the places I have looked is why the Left got creamed in Scotland. Does anyone know?

Only Hawkeye can make a bum prediction after the event.

@izzythepush,
He was saying all manner of idiot BS about the Canadian election. It demonstrated that he doesn't know how a Westminster-style parliament works, nor the election process, and in particular, the implication of more than two viable parties. I went off to a Canadian election thread which was started for the last Federal election four years ago, and there we were discussing the rather startling and un-looked-for results. The nickel finally dropped for Whackeye, and he showed up there, saying really idiotic things about the election and the results. I took the trouble to point out why he is wrong, leaving strategic voting to the side (certain he wouldn't get it), and then pointed out that ignorance is curable, but stupidity takes hard work. I told him it's really stupid to claim to know what you so obviously don't know.

Not more than about ten minutes later, he comes in saying to the effect of "It was the youth vote." He learns nothing, and he doesn't even try to learn anything. As incredible as it is, he seems to think that you can pose as a wise, well-informed observer just by making sh*t up as you go along.

That was the assertion from you, but it was never proven, because it could not be proven, because unlike most Americans I take some note how other forms of government work.

Your assertion is not a fact.

Quote:
Early numbers on voter turnout suggest that youth and first-time voters played a role in the outcome of this election.
More than 70,000 people, mostly youth, registered and voted at advance polling stations set-up at offices on campuses and community centres across the country.
The four-day pilot project was created by Elections Canada to make it easier for youth to vote.
“Elections Canada’s goal is to ensure that every Canadian who wishes to cast a ballot has an opportunity to do so,” said chief electoral officer Marc Mayrand in a press release. “I am pleased that our pilot project was so successful.”
It was clear from the start that getting youth to show up at the polls was a top priority, especially for the slew of anti-Harper campaigns that asked for youth to vote for “anyone but the Conservatives.”

http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2015/10/23/justin-trudeau-got-help-from-youth-new-voters-social-media-in-election-win.html

I lost interest and never got back to seeing if the youth vote was the deciding factor, but the fact that you are mocking me for suggesting that it might have been just goes to show what a dishonest bastard you are.

And I am sure that we will see more piling with claims that I dont know what I am taking about, and I will not take the time to refute them all, but they will probably all be of Sets quality, meaning lack there of. Maybe the stupid will be swayed by but that reflects on the stupid not on me

@Setanta,
An what the hell does that have to do with black lives matter thread?????

Why are you using it as a tool to attacked Hawkeye on this thread as such matters seems to apply to the Canadian election thread.

Hell why do you not started an attacked Hawkeye thread if that would turn you on but I hate to need to keep checking this and other threads only to find they had been turn into personal attacks threads.

@BillRM,
They are trying to swarm threads that I am in with bullshit about me because they think that it might shut me up.

It will not.

They best talk to the mods about banning me, as they cant handle me with their brains and language abilities.

Yes, this is all very sad. But somebody has to stand up to the bullies around here, I guess that someone is me.

It may or may not work. I have in the past been thrown out of places even though the mods agreed that I was not the problem, that everyone else was. I got an apology and a " I have to do this because I cant deal with these constant problems everyday from these people attacking you and you will not stand down". Paraphrase.

Will see where A2K stands, does it stand for truth and right or does it stand for tranquility?

@ossobuco,
I understand the motivation. But it's a bit like a slow motion car crash. I feel dirty watching, but can't quite bring myself to turn away.

The persecution/messiah complex is getting more epic. I am actually a little worried for him and his family. I guess I could put him on ignore but I have this nagging doubt about the villagers of Auschwitz who swore they didn't know what was going on in the camp. Is ignoring the right thing?

FML it's the internet, hinge. No one cares and it doesn't matter.

@ossobuco,
His business just went broke, I don't imagine that much fun when you've put so much into it.

FML is a vaguely rude acronym describing life fails, particularly those in which you are arguably blameless. Although my reference to it was because I was getting '50 million sides to a story' about a virtual meeting (arguing?) place with concerns about purposefully anonymous avatars. FML.

My my all the efforts of all these people aimed at the sole purpose of discrediting you!!!

You must be view as a very serous threat to their worldview indeed as I had never seen one post after another all aimed at one person and having nothing that bear on the subject of the thread those postings are contain in.

Perhaps the system moderators should look into those postings as any one of them is just par for the course but the sum of those posts are another matter.

Hell this take over of a thread and turning it into a we hate Hawkeye thread is so annoying to me I might file my very first complain if it keep up.

That is so typical, he reads something, doesn't fully understand it, but still tries to pass it off as his own.

@BillRM,
You need to grow a pair. "Off topic" is the last desperate cry of the charlatan. Maybe Hawkeye's stupidity is off topic, but then again WW2 has absolutely nothing to do with nonces being caught watching child pornography on a plane, though that didn't stop you crowing about it.

In short you're quite happy to go off topic when it suits you. When your side starts losing the argument you cry foul. It really is pathetic.

If Hawkeye didn't keep banging on about how much of a genius he was, his glaring stupidity would not even be an issue.

Now, it has been conclusively proven that Hawkeye is a very stupid gobshite perhaps we can get back on topic. Hawkeye's inability to deal with reality will probably stop that happening though.

You are the bully, you attack rape victims and glorify the use of racist language. That's what bullies do. Now you've got a taste of your medicine you've retreated back into your fantasy world, the one where not only do you understand what truth means you actually believe the horseshit you spout contains it.

You wouldn't know what truth was if it bit you on the arse.
