@BillRM,
TonyRM - Voting rights are being attacked by Red state everywhere.

Alabama is closing voter registration by closing voter registration and vehicle registration majority black counties.

Texas has eliminated student ID as an ID to vote while adding a conceal carry permit. Even though the state admits they've only been able to document TWO cases of a false registration in more than twenty (20) years.

Stop reading only RW Teabillie sites for your information.

Hakeye just confessed to full blown self-loathing. I want to help him in some way. I know: I'll loathe him too! Wait. I already do.

Quite the opposite. We'd never ever try to silence the source of much amusement and loud, loud laughter. Please keep on being the dingus that makes you oh so very Hawkeye!

Any chance I can copy your note from last night's session? I fell asleep after hour four.

He has a wife in the military who has wonderful insurance coverage (CHAMPUS) for him, including generous mental health coverage.

He could be getting help.

this might already be here ... but just in case

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/august_2015/black_lives_matter_or_all_lives_matter

it's a couple of months old

Quote:

Platinum Page

National Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters
Conducted August 17-18, 2015
By Rasmussen Reports

1* Which statement is closest to your own—black lives matter or all lives matter? Or does neither statement reflect your point of view?

2* Do most politicians raise racial issues to address real problems or to get elected?

NOTE: Margin of Sampling Error, +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence

Quote:
When asked which statement is closest to their own views, 78% of Likely U.S. Voters say all lives matter. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 11% say black lives matter. Nine percent (9%) say neither statement reflects their point of view.

Thirty-one percent (31%) of black voters say black lives matter is closest to their own views, but just nine percent (9%) of whites and 10% of other minority voters agree. Eighty-one percent (81%) of whites and 76% of other minority voters opt instead for all lives matter, and 64% of blacks agree.

@ehBeth,
related (and possible answering my own question on another thread about what changed in NYC to bring the crime rate down so significantly)

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/political_commentary/commentary_by_michael_barone/black_lives_matter_s_agenda_is_costing_black_lives

Quote:
The tragedy is that the "broken windows" policing BLM decries has saved thousands of black lives. From 1990 to 2014, murders declined from 2,262 to 333 in New York, from 987 to 251 in Los Angeles, from 943 to 413 in Chicago.
