@OmSigDAVID,
No. Typically they are used to roll what is referred to as a "blunt".
It is a marijuanna cigarette. It got its name from the cigar, "Philly Blunt" which was originally used..
They slit open the cigar and dispose of the tobacco and use the cigar wrapper as a rolling paper for the weed.
Also if he was stealing that many it wasnt for personal use...can you say DEALER?

@OmSigDAVID,
You use the cigar to make a blunt.

That 's a very good way to sum it up; it really IS.
2 felonies, going for 3.

Incidentally, I don t see this as a racial matter.
I doubt that Wilson wud have been willing to let a white
smash in his other eye socket. I hope his eye is OK. Does anyone know??

So, somehow, u turn a tobacco cigar
into a cannabis cigar ?

Maybe u hollow it out
and stuff it in ?

Have u reached a credibility assessment, Tom ?

Not a final one, but a preliminary one. My preliminary assessment is that Mr. Brown's companion's testimony should be discarded and that the other two deserve the benefit of the doubt for now. "For now" means "at least until they are contradicted by actual witnesses rather than mouthpieces for the police who haven't seen anything themselves".

@OmSigDAVID,
Its racial so that CNN and MSNBC can boost its sagging ratings.
Its an industry.
No definative word on if it's fractured...I dont think it really matters. The officer was feloniously assaulted by a street thug who was going for his gun. Nuff said.

For his sake, I hope that he still has the use of his eye; both of them.

CNN Says Rumor That Michael Brown Fractured Darren Wilson's Eye Socket is False
http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2014/08/21/darren_wilson_eye_socket_not_broken_by_michael_brown_cnn_says.html

Where's the evidence he suffered any eye injury? Have his medical records been made public?

If the cigar is split to remove its tobacco,
then how does one seal it to keep in its marijuana,
not that I'm planning to do it; Scotch Tape ?

Where is the evidence of an assault on the officer? How do you know Brown went for Wilson's gun?

Neither Wilson's version of events nor his medical records have been made public. The one autopsy report which has been made public showed no evidence on Brown's hands indicating he had been in a fight.

No eyewitness could see inside the police car to tell whether Brown was reaching for Wilson's gun. No forensic evidence showing Brown's DNA on the gun has been released.

On what are you basing your conclusions? Rumor? Bias?

@firefly,
The officer was treated for an injury to his face. Im confident he didnt hit himself.
The gun went off inside the car. Im confident the officer wasnt trying to commit suicide.

People seem to be discussing
a broken right eye socket on the police officer.

I know not the source of this information.

I wonder whether his girlfriend said that on the radio.

@Thomas,
You dont use a new cover leaf. You lick it and seal it then lightly heat it with a lighter then twist the ends. If you want Im sure there has to be a video on u-tube.

I was thinking: if a new cover leaf is available,
then Y bother with the cigar robbery in the first place ??

@OmSigDAVID,
Im not sure what your asking. The reason he stole so many cigars is either he has a real BIG habit or he is dealing.

Understood.

What I did not get was the packaging concept.

If a cigar is sliced open, that compromises
the structural integrity of what will be used to hold in the marijuana.

If a new cover leaf was ALREADY available,
then the cigar robbery was un-necessary.
