i'm now a "seasoned member" does that mean i'm ready to cook?
(....evil laughter.....)
Anyone got some fava beans? I prefer chardonnay to chianti....
Hey! Owls would be good done as a sort of star-gazy pie!
You know -the fish pie where all the little fish heads stick out of the pie, gazing toward the heavens in mute, bootless, appeal...
Those li'l beaks and those big eyes would look CUUUUUUUUUUTE!
haha!
better go check your woodchucking thread to see what i have instore for a bunny.
Huh - in the immortal words of Mrs Beaton - first catch your rabbit....
We are a small people, but cunning....
RUN GUAMESE RABBITS! RUN!
THUMP THUMP THUMP (rabbit warning device - thumping hind feet on ground)
Not sure about how it works in Mass., but i have a friend in Michigan who is required to go in each morning between 6 and 8 a.m. to blow in the breathalyser to ensure he is not drinking at all - it's the only thing keeping him out of jail while he awaits a court date.
He missed one blow appointment and was hauled in to jail overnight in cuffs. They did a full armed takedown at his home, with small children in attendance. It can definitely be done in at least a few other states.
I don't know all of Mikey's circumstances, and I definitely know that they're none of my business, but I do know that there are situations where drinking at all can result in jail time. And that includes drinking at home.
Stewed owl with fava beans. How much champagne was used in the marinade?
ok, another funny one <pulling out the venison cookbook>
Is cooking an owl sort of like cooking your goose?
Mikey - it all sounds so strange, but as Piffka said, I don't know the laws there. Good luck to you!
Mikey - how can that be? Wow, since when do the cops on the cape care if someone is drinking at home?
Is the owl cooked with cheese perhaps? Kind of a breaded and fried thing? Hmm....
There has to be more to it than we know.
I'm with ehBeth on that,..I don't want to make speculations either.
Best wishes to mikey for a great New Year!!
I'm sure all will turn out well!

Deep fried cheesy owls!!!!
I'm stayin'!!!
damned cannibals...........
Though I could just as easily go for fried rabbit,....yummers!!
Oh, Jerry ... I'm getting hungry. You do the cooking and I'll bring the wine, okay? Uhhh, what kind of wine does one serve with Owl Casserole and Bunny Delight?
Thee's only one kind of wine for New Year's Eve,...champagne,.
And I've a full case of Veuve Clicquot right here!!!
