@George,
Looks like the 2 games that are going to be the determining factors are chosen, huh?

Both look to be evenly matched games so I look forward to getting back to some football!

@McGentrix,
You'll have to help me out a bit, McG.
Which two games do you mean?

@George,
Bengals-Bears and Giants-Cowboys. We seem to be evenly divided and looks like the people that chose the winners in those games will be taking the early lead.

@McGentrix,
George's summary of how we split overall doesn't get into the details of who has picked which teams. I'll get into that on Wednesday or Thursday after final choices are in. Suffice it to say that, at this point, Cowdoc and Johnboy agree with the majority on all but 1 of the 14 of the games (excluding the 2 tossups).
Meanwhile, I regret to inform you that I have heard from CoinToss. I was hoping that we wouldn't hear from the little twerp this season.
CT's picks for Week #1: Balt, NE, Chic, Mia, NO, TBay, Tenn, Det, Indy, Car, Jax, St L, SF, Dal, Wash, SD.

@Ragman,
Duly noted, Ragman.
I have often said that I have no problem with players altering picks. That is why Wite-Out was invented. I prefer people posting early and then changing to my having to nag people right before the deadline.

Thanks, McG. I can be a bit dense at times.

@Kolyo,
Welcome, Kolyo. You are our 17th player to join and the first rookie to our game. You will be teamed with JPB and Tico in our game within a game.
We welcome other folks who may want to try their hands at this.

They probably want me to do something other than "home team for week 1", but if the Bills win then I've given us a win over the rest of the teams. I'm sticking with the Bills for week 1.

Gutsy call. Here's another question: who will be their starting QB?

@Ragman,
Doug certainly knows the territory.
A clean jersey, a bowl of Flutie Flakes and he's good to go.

@ossobuco,
I hear you, there. Farbeit for me to attempt to sway you...but...

FWIW, I like home teams in game #1...even though it's conservative but a statistically good move. Last yr Stafford had lots of yardage (4900+)...but not a good TD-to-pick ratio (20/17). However, Vikes don't look too powerful at all....cept'n for Mr. Peterson. Christian Ponder flat-out is no threat...unless he can shovel a pass off to Peterson.

Can he do that an entire game against Lions stout D ..and playin' in their house?
