We are missing the wisdom of McGentrix, Mysteryman and Miz Cowdoc.

@edgarblythe,
EdgarB, I recognize that shirt - you wore it the day you and your wife stopped by Dys and Diane's.. and remember liking it.

Cute. Lets see how cute it is after I crush your puny team this week.

Tough talk from the underdog.

What's the high going to be in Denver on Sunday? 18 degrees with a chance of snow? Here's to Peyton having his typical cold weather game. And to Decker's fingers being too cold to catch anything that comes his way.

@Ticomaya,
Considering I was expected to go 2-12 at the start of the season, the monkeys have performed admirably. 1 game left and hopefully they perform well.

Week #14 Preview...
We agree on 79% of our picks this week which is about in line with earlier sessions. We all think KC will win over Wash, NE will beat Cleveland and Denver will whip Tenn. In two other games the split is 16-1.
The one game that is a true tossup is Dallas (9 votes) @ Chicago (8). The other game that is perplexing is Seattle (10) @ SF (7).
Ragman, Tico, Coastalrat and Lightening agree with the majority on 15 of the 16 games.
Edgar is out of step on 7 matches.
I've checked out the weather for Sunday. Here it could be a bit (d)icy. In several NFL cities conditions could be just plain nasty.

@realjohnboy,
Sorry I missed this week.
My grandson got very sick and spent 4 days in the hospital.
With everything going on, it completely slipped my mind.

So I will make my picks tomorrow, even though they wont count.
And to be fair, I will take a loss for yesterday.

I would petition for leniency considering the circumstances.

@mysteryman,
The Rules Committee met long into the night and decided, of course, to grant you a waiver, Jeff.
We hope that your grandson is well on his way to recovery.

My grandson got out of the hospital on thursday night.
He had the croup, but it was such a severe case that his o2 levels had gotten dangerously low.
When he was on oxygen, his sats came back up, but as soon as they took him off o2, his levels dropped again.

It took 4 days to get it straightened out.

Thank you all for your concern.
My next post will be my picks.
