They are gonna throw Chris Chritie out as a breakwater in order to prevent any surge damage to Atlantic City casinos.

Boy that guy is gettin huger and huger.
But nonetheless, be safe all you guys in the mid Altlantic Bight.
We are moving all blowables into the barn (Have to do it anyway for winter so the storm just gives me an imptus to git er done)

Christie looks like a fuckin beachmaster walrus.

Just hope Christie does not get beached on the farm. It would cost plenty to get that carcass towed away.

There's a storm coming in from the west that is to meet Sandy early in the week - it got here last night and it's already unpleasant. The Trans-Canada Highway was washed out up in Wawa.

Well we are sitting in Annapolis waiting for the party. It will be great, no water, no hot food no showers and no power,yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh. the media coverage so far looks to be another case of the elites spreading fear. This storm had better come in as some semblance of the advertised... the last thing we need is to have the masses routinely ignoring weather warnings because they assume that they are being lied to yet again.

Hawkeye I been in hurricanes up to a cat 5 and for a cat 1 I would not even likely put the storm covers over my windows.

The whole fear and concern level being generated by the news media over a barely cat 1 is shameful.

we see this done over and over again Bill. We need to understand what is going on, who keeps pushing panic and why do the masses so consistently indulge in it? part of it is surely government wants to sell themselves as being on our side even though they are controlled by our abusers so they they are always pushing the SAFTEY! program, but that the masses are so stupid that we keep falling for the falsehoods seems less sure. Maybe there is something else going on, that we believe this crappola because we want to for some reason.

Hawkeye, I do not blame government so must as the 24/7 news media that needs news that will draw an audience in the millions day in and day outs.

A storm that is some threat to 50 millions on the Atlantic coast is a dream come true even if they need to downgrade the fact that it is barely a hurricane.

I just found out that Microsoft is so afraid that Frakenstorm will knock my daughter off of the network in DC that they are flying her back to homebase tonight.
