It's been on the News here that all of you are freezing your bollox off under six feet of snow.

Is everyone OK?

@Lordyaswas,
I saw some report that said it was below freezing in some part of all fifty states a couple of days ago. We Southerners are wondering what those ice chunks are doing in our driveways, but other than that no issues. I haven't put the top down on the convertible all week though.

@engineer,
I was wondering.

As we usually get your weather about two weeks after you've had it, who can we sue when it arrives?

@George,
That would look good in Latin on one of my Tshirts, George.

@engineer,
When Hawaii reports that several nights (at sea level) are at or below 32 deg F, we're in for deep trouble!

Sadly, as Buffalo starts to dig out from this second wave of lake-effect snows (1.5-2 ft more) in a day or so, the weather is forecast to warm up and massively snow melt and flood the areas that never have floods.

I am suffering through bone chilling 19C at the moment.

Last week it was 2.2C

The outdoor pool I go to is heated to about 26.5C in the winter. They open the gate to let some of an underground hot spring mix with the city water.

I've been in there whilst it is snowing. It's lovely.

@chai2,
I feel for you, chai.

Would you like me to send you a soup parcel like I did last year?

This year I promise to make it more watertight.

@Lordyaswas,
This is the time of year I walk around with a confused look on my face.

WHY aren't all the music festivals and outdoor stuff going on Now?

Why does it all happen when it's 37C and above out?
Oh, is 40C out, let's all go spend $100 to stand packed like sardines in a can in the middle of a field, drinking beer and taking selfies.

@chai2,
We always make sure that we have major music festivals during the rainy season. Teenagers adore mud.

Granted, we're then limited to staging them only ten months of the year, but we squeeze them in somehow.

@Lordyaswas,
Didn't you see the weather report? The jet stream has shifted and slowed the progress of the weather right down. We'll probably get it in May by which time it will have turned to drizzle, like all weather.

Yea, thanx for asking.
I was outside a little while ago; we were up to about 77 degrees, not much snow.
It was just DELIGHTFUL!!! I 'm thinking of going out for a slow stroll to the hot tub in a few minutes,
just to appreciate the sweetness of Nature. We 'r down to about 64 degrees now. I expect it to reach
about 77 again, give or take, later on. I think its perfect.

How r things in England ?
