@Green Witch,
He doesn't have many fans left after tonight, I think. That actually makes him the perfect person to take to the end.

(Please, please, please let him find his shorts!) Laughing

OMG, in my opinion, yesterday's episode was one of the most boring and hardest to watch one ever!

It was ALL about Phillip this and that. It was just too much! The show was playing up the guy's wackiness, but by now, I believe most viewers have had enough. Come on Jeff and staffers, let's move on!

All the while, Rob just sitting in the background rubbing his hands in glee and smiling to himself, of course. Works in his favour, I guess.

It's so predictable that it's getting boring that the other bunch will get voted out one by one. Let's speed up this stuff! It's like watching paint dry!

@Reyn,
Agreed.

Boring and predictable. It has become downright dull and it won't get interesting until Rob's gang has to start cannibalizing itself.

Jeff decided to change things up a bit and did a video blog this week.

I love how he got called out on "duel" being two people, not three. He'd posted on Twitter last night that from here on out all duels on RI would be between three people.

Hey Jeff --- that's not a duel, it's a truel!!!

@Irishk,
Thanks for the YouTube link. I found it interesting.

I've posted a reply to the video under the name 'Reynold3355', and said what I felt about the episode.

I totally agree. It's clear now that Rob's tribe is tight and that the others will be picked off one by one.

Jeff thinks that Philip is a treasure. Wrong! Philip is a major annoyance. Does that make me racist?

@Roberta,
Just don't call the Former Special Agent (?) 'crazy'!

I did think Jeff handled that TC rather well. He was able to see the issue through the eyes of both Steve and Philip and explain each man's point of view to the other. Maybe we should send Jeff over to the Middle East.

@Irishk,
But it didn't pass off as entertainment ... and, as far as I remember, that's the whole point of this stuff. That's to entertaqin folks. Sad

@Reyn,
Yes, it turned into a political correctness kowtow and that is not why I watch the show. The whole rice vs. white scenario should have been edited out. Philip and his "my father was called boy" had nothing to do with him being called a lunatic (or crazy). He is a crazy lunatic, and it's not because he is black.

@Green Witch,
I really wish that whole thing had played out differently. I could have been cool. I loved it when Steve said "Uh.... I don't think so." when they asked if they could add the rice to the remaining pot.

It should have been an interesting negotiation -- you can put the rice in our container but we want to sleep under the tarp, or we'll save your food after you vote out someone on your tribe, or something.

This season would have been so much more interesting if they'd redistributed the tribes before the merge.

I'm willing to be Russell is watching this and laughing his ass off.

@boomerang,
I laughed when Philip said he used his Special Agent training and fingered Steve for stealing his shorts. And again at the look on his face when Julie admitted she was the real thief.

@boomerang,
I also wondered why they didn't use the rice to barter for some power.
As in: We will share our rice but only if you get rid of Philip next.

That we can agree on! Laughing

I was wondering that as well. They didn't handle the rice scenario well. They should have indeed played the negotiations card!

Wow, no idea, quite honestly!

Looks like just one little package.

Hmmm...

I remember from one season where they gave everyone the option to sit out of the immunity challenge in favor of getting some kind of clue -- maybe to an immunity idol, I don't remember what the information was.

I'll bet it's something like that.

I wonder if anyone will try to sneak a peek before the challenge.

I predict that Philip will examine the package carefully and then tell everyone what's in it. How could he not figure it out? He was a secret agent.

Maybe it contains a clue about the location of his pants.
