Black is beautiful.

And they didn't have to use it but they did.

No. If non-Christians can impose their views on society through legislation, then we have the same liberty.

No, hold your religion, embrace your religion, but do not impose it on others, do not make laws based solely on religious doctrine. If you do make laws based on religious doctrine support it with facts that everybody can agree on.

Depends on what views they are. I do not think our currency should read "In gods we trust" or "In no god we trust" so why would i think it was okay to put "In god we trust".

Why would you fight imposing with imposing? You are a christian, did Jesus not say to turn the other cheek?

As is done of all religions, you will not see a statue of Buddha in any place of government. The idea is for a religion neutral government, only once we achieve total neutrality in government can we truly have justice and equality.

There is no neutral government. The only place this can happen is in an academic exercise. Academic exercises are not the real world. If you are arguing from the view that there is a possibility of a neutral government, then you are operating from fantasy.

There can be true justice and equality if people treated each other by the golden rule and honored God's Word.

Jefferson put his pants on like any other man. His opinion was no better than anyone else's.

You will eat those words.

Do you have the audacity to say such a thing? Do you have the audacity to sit there and tell me that the opinion of one of the key founder fathers, who is directly responsible for the creation and governance of this nation, does not matter? Can you tell me the opinion of a founding father is not important? Do you tell me the opinion which directly influenced the principals running this nation are equal to the opinion's of anyone else?

You are no countryman of mine!

Because perfection is impossibly should we then give up before we try? Don't be foolish!

Had Lincoln said that racial equality was impossible, then should he have never freed the slaves? :dunno:

Duh, Yes! All men are created equal. There may be a difference in the fact from which they reason or a difference in their world-view, but one's opinion is no better than any other's.

Short answer: No.

Did you intend to imply something with that question?

What did you mean when you talked about a neutral government?

You are mixing these issues, racial equality is not the same issue as neutral government. I said there is no such thing as a neutral government. No human being is or can be neutral. They must act according to their values and world-view. They can be cowardly about expressing their values, but they always act according to their values.

Racial equality is not an ideal, it is the natural (God given) order of things. Witness our Declaration of Independence.

Sin causes people to think they were better than other people. Sin, short-sighted self-interest, and avarice caused people to perpetuate and institutionalize racisim and slavery in the first thirteen United States of America.

So an economist's view on the future state of the economy is no better than the opinion of a 7 yr. old? :rollinglaugh:

We are talking about adults. Are you seven years old? If not, why would you attempt to draw such a parallel?
