Do you know how to read?

If you do, then you can read and interpret for yourself. I suggest you do try to read the Bible. Then read the other "sacred texts" and see which stacks up against your gut.

Our own personal interpretation is not how we should approach that scriptures

2 Peter 1:20-21 (KJV)
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

God reviles the truth of the scriptures to His people

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (KJV)
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

A lot you know. There are many people throughout the world who believe in the religions you maintain are dead. I've met them. There is actually a resurgence of those religions in the countries of their origin and in offshoots in other countries. You need to get out more, go to strange and interesting places and meet the people.

But you said you've met these people, which i am quite certain that you have not!

because some freedoms like freedom of speech are easy to promote, untill your life is on the line....

many people were afraid to post comics criticizing Muhammad and his followers.....that is freedom of the press and freedom of speech are you gonna let fear prevent you from expressing your right to free speech? I sure as hell won't! It's fear that gives them their power!

What is a terrorist who cannot encite terror in his victims?

...and this is what believers usually resort to, oppinion.

i am not here to change you beliefs, nothing i say will change your mind, but remember this....your belief is based on faith and mine is based on logic, and we shall keep it at that!

No, you took a general statement I made and made it specific to the items you wished. I said I had interacted with people from those cultures and met or interacted with people who believe in some of those religions.

What I said is not just my opinion. It is what the Word of God says about finding Him.

My belief is based on trust in God and an understanding of the world and the Word of God.

My understanding is based on 50 years of learning and experience on four continents in every type of climatic condition and geographic locale on earth. The experience includes interacting with inhabitants in the countries on those continents or sub-continents and the knowledge and understanding gained from those interactions.

Whether or not you believe this doesn't matter to me. It is the truth and the truth doesn't change to suit a conversation.

i first stated the gods and you said that you have met people who believed in those gods, so i did NOT make specific to what i was talking about....

You still haven't met anybody who believes in Thor or Zeus, as you said you have!

No, your faith is your trust of the men who wrote the bible....The simple truth is that you can't justify your trust of the bible without using a circular argument or personal rhetoric!

As to the mythological creatures, Thor and Zeus, not that I know of. Although I didn't pry into peoples' belief systems. If I became aware of what they believed it was because I broke bread with them or was invited into some aspect of their lives.
