Right.

And, what's the deal with the gym bag? She didn't care about your feelings. Why should you have cared if she knew you were walking out?

I wouldn't have tried to sneak out. I'd have made it very plain I was leaving.

If I have learned nothing else about Kicky on this forum - I have learned he is a gentleman at heart. He didn't up and leave because he would have been as rude as his date. I'm glad he didn't sink to her level.

kix - the next time someone is that rude to you, listen to Bob Marley

Quote:
Get up, stand up! (Jah, Jah!)
Stand up for your rights! (Oh-hoo!)
Get up, stand up! (Get up, stand up!)
Don't give up the fight! (Life is your right!)
Get up, stand up! (So we can't give up the fight!)
Stand up for your rights! (Lord, Lord!)
Get up, stand up! (Keep on struggling on!)
Don't give up the fight! (Yeah!)

Get up
Stand up
Walk out

and flip her the bird if she says anything to you as you're walking away

hehehehe

Eva, Green Witch and I are much of an age.

Green Witch is glad Kix is a polite young man.
Eva recommends Kix leave - and not invisibly.
I recommend he leave - singing righteously.

Kix, you didn't deserve that nasty thing wasting your time.

Poor kicky. For what it's worth, I still think you are sexy -- desperation smell and all.

I would have expected kicky to be nice about it, but I see nothing ungentlemanly about leaving when you're not having a good time. That's just sensible.

I've left early when dates weren't working out. Haven't you? If they've been nice to me, I make a polite excuse. If they haven't been nice to me, I am upfront enough to tell them I don't like how it's going. And nobody has ever accused me of being unladylike.

(Edited: Of course, I've always had an independent streak. I've been known to walk out of movies, classes, concerts, family gatherings and even church! No sense spending any longer than necessary when you're wasting your time, I say.)

And you will understand, dear Setanta, that I am a happily married nekkid lady...

...but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate being considered a "hot young thang" from time to time!

That's it! Cut out the steamy stuff right now, otherwise I shall have to take another tablet.

Kicky....why dont you try to find a nice Italian girl. They are usually very beautiful, great cooks and it would save a packet on Italian lessons.

Definitly hot today - "thang" and all - it's 95 degrees, humid and no rain in sight.

Ummm... Lord E. I don't think I'd bring up the Italian woman topic. I think Kicky is still recovering from his lack of romance in that country. But hey, there's a whole world still left for possible conquests.

He could always try an English girl. Polite, social, reserved, kind and shy.
Sex on legs behind closed doors though.

Recently met three men at two different events. One turned out to be unemployed. One gave me his card, but when I emailed him, he couldn't remember who I was as he had given out too many cards. The third asked me the same questions in our fourth email as he had in the first. Show me the next batch.

Ever considered a Finnish girl: short, stocky and rather plain, shy and silent, but typically with high moral standards, serious and loyal and a high tolerance for alcohlol and cold weather?

Footnote: I have the highest respect for Finnish girls, but I do not happen to be married to one myself.
