Not swinging, trading. I went to one once hmmmmm trying to remember how long ago. You bring someone you think is great, but not great for you - so does everyone else. Everyone understands upfront - it's a chance to meet people that your friends think are cool. It was one of the best parties I ever went to - everyone had a sense of humour about it, and a coupla couples were formed as a result. Others just made new friends, which was also nice. I recall going to a dance performance with two of the guys from the party and one of my friends - we also had dinner a few times. It was fun.

aaaaahhh. I actually had a similar idea. If my pals had both stayed online doing this dating thing, I thought we could get all the 'let's be friends' people together for a cocktail party.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment k, these things do happen and..you have a few others you liked as well, didnt you?
Just pull up those boot straps and get right on back into it, afterall, dating is all about finding out if you really actually do like someone
