@Region Philbis,
What was your pace per mile?
@George,
8:50-something?
waiting for them to post the results...
@George,
Wow! Great job, Reege and Jes!
Is there a course map for the Samaritans race? I didn't see one at the site.
@George,
Holy cow I beat the next person by about 59 minutes.
George, the course should be pretty close to this:

Hey, that's where the Run of the Charles (canoe/kayak race) finishes.
I thought it was called Herter Park.
@George,
Nice work (your time, I mean), Jes!
A couple of years ago that would have been impossible.
@George,
Definitely -- my legs are still complaining a bit, but not like they would've been.
@jespah,
Take a tyenol, aspirin, advil, or whatever. That tells your legs to shut up. Worked like a charm for mine.

Oh yes, I totally forgot -- great work, Bostonistas!
@ehBeth,
thankee.
like i said above, it felt like a chore... never did hit a good rhythm...
On Sunday morning, I drove down to the Charles to jog along
the course for the Samaritans 5K. It's flat but narrow. I'm
predicting a personal best race time for 2009. So far, it'll be
my only race time for 2009.
Reege & Jes, you still on for it? I plan to be at Artesani Park at
about 9. We can do wind sprints to warm up. (Yeah, right.)
The race is this weekend? Well good luck to all participants - may you all
surpass your previous best results.
I am still doing my daily exercise, alternating between gym and fresh air activities. My goal for 2009 really was to exercise daily and this I have accomplished so far - even during my vacation abroad!
@George,
You have to be, George, when eating all those tempting cakes and pastries in France and Germany.
@George,
yep, we'll prolly get there @ aboot 9:30.
Thomas should also be
joining us.
long-range is calling for a 40% of precip, hi 67F...
@CalamityJane,
