Run, people, run!

I'm still doing the 4/X week thing. Gym-mom's husband still hasn't found a job, but he has a couple of hot leads (send some A2K mojo his way). I'm down about 30 pounds so far and my doctor was happy with all sorts of stuff at my recent physical. (Blood pressure is very good, etc.) Yay for exercise.

@Region Philbis,
Oh, what the hell -- I just registered for both races. Plus, if you're very much out of luck, my sister D will want to refresh her Boston memories when she visits in late October. (For mysterious reasons, she fell in love with the place when she interned there almost ten years ago.) That would make three Boston visits in just over a month. You have been warned.

@Region Philbis,
Haven't posted here for a while. I'm a walker not a runner, but I've been working to increase my mileage. Currently averaging about 20 miles/week. Just did a 7 miler today! Woo hoo!

Swimpy (tired but happy)

7 miles in one day is pretty good, Swimpy. You deserve to be tired!!

Good for you Region! How did jespah do? Y'all running in October should
get an a2k t-shirt.

I am still exercising daily - treadmill, bike, weights, nothing special. The main
thing is that I do daily some sort of exercise.

@CalamityJane,
I shaved off around 4 seconds from my time, so not as dramatic as RP but still an improvement. Mah dogs are barkin' today.

@George,

the weird part about it was it felt like i was going slower than usual, and couldn't wait for the race to end...
