WHILE BABY IS STOMPED TO DEATH
WITNESSES ARE BUSY OBEYING GUN LAWS

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,367243,00.html

""They tried to intervene and get involved, but their efforts
really didn't have an effect. The suspect was engaged in what he was doing.
He just pushed them off and went back to it."

A sheriff's helicopter responding to emergency calls from the area landed
in a cow pasture at 10:19 p.m. carrying a Modesto police officer who shot the man
to death after he refused an order to stop beating the child, Singh said.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate the toddler, who was not breathing when
they arrived. The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead." [emfasis added by David]

WHEN SECONDS ARE IMPORTANT,
THE POLICE ARE ONLY A FEW MINUTES AWAY.

The important thing here
is that ALL present CITIZENs, including the stomper,
were in PERFECT compliance with ALL gun control laws.

Does that make u PROUD to be an American ?

If that baby had been armed, none of this would of happened.

omSigDavid, sometimes you say such idiotic things. Those people obviously did not try hard enough - someone should have clouted him on the back of the head with something really heavy. Having a gun or not is irrelevant. I'm positive many people, even if alone, would have done just about anything to stop that horrific act. That these people didn't is the issue.

Did the police officer who killed him think that
Having a gun or not is irrelevant, Mame ???

Will u tell me if THAT is idiotic, please ??

The Government of California is complicit in this murder
for disabling witnesses from EFFECTIVELY helping out.

AS THE ARTICLE SAYS:
THAY TRIED, MAME, BUT THAY WERE PUSHED AWAY.

I remember a few years ago,
I was so weakened by surgery that I cud not even walk,
let alone FIGHT.

THEY were pushed away by one man? What's wrong with them that they couldn't have pinned him down? Where was this? How many were there? I'm sure there was a rock or a branch, or just being outnumbered would have done it.

Yes.
THEY were pushed away by one man. (the stomper)
Maybe thay were feeble; maybe thay were chicken (being unarmed, in obedience to law).
Mame,
I got all of this information of which u inquire
from the news article which is hereinabove set forth, in the first post.

Perhaps if u READ the article ?

I don't see anything in the article to indicate that the witnesses had been disarmed, by the government or anyone else.

I imagine that had they been the type of folk to carry guns, they would have.

Are you advocating that everyone be armed at all times, even if they don't wish to carry a weapon?

California is an anti-gun venue.

Even if thay DID, for self defense,
and if their armament is illegal, thay might not have chosen
to expose themselves to criminal litigation for defending the baby.
Trial attorneys r expensive.

nothing better than a shooting rampage where multiple people die. yay. brilliant idea. everybody on this planet should carry a gun. it would solve overpopulation, too. and long lines.

Over the years, I 've seen on TV news too many instances
of children falling victim to full adults or to older n stronger children,
suffering grave personal injuries, as a result.
Thay have at least as much right to defend themselves
as anyone else. Arguably, a child who has many decades of life
in front of him has more to defend than an old man like me.

On one especially shocking occasion (among the aforesaid accounts)
I remember a 7 year old boy riding his bike after supper,
when he was grabbed by a pervert, off of the bike,
who then cut his throat from ear-to-ear,
then cut off the victim's penis and departed therewith.

The victim survived his wounds.

I am of the opinion,
that the victim had the RIGHT to retain his own penis.
It wud have been a HAPPIER and more JUST ending to the event
if the boy had SHOT the pervert and driven away.

So saith

Maybe the BABY STOMPING incident is better: u think ??

Baloney !
In Vermont, the citizens have NEVER had gun laws
and it is at the bottom of the FBI's crime list every year.

The citizens of ALASKA repealed ALL gun laws a few years ago,
without the results that u so confidently describe.

Victimization comes from WEAKNESS not strength.
Most criminals r cowards.

A society that has adults stomping children to death has ills deeper than anything that changing gun control laws can address. I think that the example shows rather that American society is too deranged to allow individuals to carry guns, that guns should be completely outlawed and the violating the law should carry a stiff punishment.

YES.
Thay shud receive training in schools along with arithmetic.

How ofen have we seen little Moslem boys,
hardly over an age able to walk,
armed with AK 47s or with pistols ?

Have u ever EVEN ONCE
seen a news story of them accidentally
shooting other Moslems, young or old ?
Thru all of these years, I have never seen such a story.

Admittedly, I did not get my first functional gun
until I was 8, but better late than never.

I felt serene with my .38, until I upgraded years later to a .44 special.
The kids in my neighborhood in Arizona were fairly well armed

Our area was quiet n peaceful; no rampages.

Your statement wud not be foolish
if the baby had been stomped by A SOCIETY.
He was stomped by a man; maybe his dad ?

THAT wud overthrow the Constitution
opening us up for infinte tyranny at the hands of government,
at the discretion of government.

We did not throw out the English to make THAT happen.

I think that if we demand that militia's register members and arms with the state, and make them lock their weapons up in an armory and only transport them to shooting ranges, that we would be with-in the constitutional limits....let's do that.
