I think that many people are well aware that powerful men often have liaisons with women other than their wives. Often the wives are well aware of their mate's extracurricular activities. The problem with Spitzer, was that he was a pious hypocrite.

I think the sad part for her is that America sees those pictures and they don't look at him, they look at her. They look at the train wreck that was a reportedly happy marriage two days ago and they can't look away. I know her face was the first thing I noticed when I saw this on the news. You don't see defiance or political damage control, you just see suffering.

Yup that's all I see (suffering) and the photo above doesn't capture what the video shows. She obviously had been crying profusely. It is really sad. Silda Spitzer is quite a woman, Harvard Law, top corporate daughter, raised three daughters. She will be fine.

There is a tremendous amount of emotion in that woman's face. I see pain, suffering, anger, remorse, resignation...
I feel sorry for her. I hope she unleashes the full force of her fury upon that dude and reduces him to a pile of smoldering ash.

I don't believe Silda Spitzer had a clue, or she would have found a way to stop him. She was too practical and intelligent to allow her power house of a husband to self-destruct. It was her public and personal life too that was at risk. I think she will divorce him when the dust settles on all this.

Yes, I'm serious. I saw Mrs. Spitzer speak a number of years ago and there is no way that tough woman is going to stick around and comfort her cheating husband. She' doesn't have the same kind of ambitions as Hillary, she knows she will be just fine without him, especially after she takes him to court for a chunk of their wealth.
