Lol!!!!!

Well - my soloness is not so solo.

Unless'n you count someone in Queensland as not counting.

Personally, I find that a comfortable distance - I am a goil who likes her space!

Still, the airways are busy - I am finally the one making the trip next month.

Damned tropics!!!!

My lad has asked me to remind you - it could be worse - it could be three times a day!

You're leavin' on a jet plane, making the big visit. Wow!

I'm finding soloness less appealing lately. I'm wondering what it's about, and what the implications of that are going to be.

Thanks for reviving this thread.Good reading. I'm still chuckling over the way dlowan reprimanded slappy...very graciously.

I hate living alone;I always fall apart and the place gets messy. I enjoy being around people and doing things for them. I'm sharing a house wih a single mom and it's a joy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Slappy said: "But you know what the best part about having roomates is? Pranks you can pull on them. Nothing says "fun" like anal rape for the goof!"

I know it is all tongue in cheek and adorably clever, Slappy - and one is a doofus ands way uncool to object in any way - but, for the record, and - doubtless with no effect or importance - I find that one of the times you are just not funny.

So it goes.

Pass along people - nothing to see here.

Gufffawwww

Then enjoy, panzade! But you really must learn to do nice things for YOU, too! And get lots of pleasure from it! Very Happy

Hmmmm, sounds very romantic, Deb! Smile And at least you won't suffer from the from the contempt that familiarity brings!
Question: Is it difficult to maintain a relationship (apart from over the phone & email) when you're so far away from your "friend"?

You've got me wondering, ehBeth .... Does it go in cycles? Merge, separate, merge, separate? It's been so long since I've been on my own ... maybe my current enjoyment of soloness is simply the sheer relief of recovering from the effects an extended "merge" that went badly off the rails? And rediscovering the sheer pleasure of just suiting one's self for the first time in ages ....

Very damned long when you're terminally lonely.
