By the way re: logs being all over A2K I did that recently while trying to figure out a pattern of sozlet's illnesses before going to the doc... did a search for "sick" and then "fever", I think, worked great.
Wow....I went back and checked the dates of my posts from my threads (didn't even get to anyone elses thread I may have posted in) and found that out of the last 5 months, 4 of them have a thread titled "Today Sucks" 'Depressed..." or something similar. So I go back and trace my monthly....every single month (out of the 4 "i hate life" threads) fell during that time. There are a few sprinkles of depression and anxiety here and there but the concentration of it is right smack in the middle of my cycle. I am now convinced that I have PMDD. I am making the appointment tomorrow (I am at work and don't have my doctors new phone number: she moved.)
Thanks guys for being supportive. I almost feel better just in finding the pattern.
There's always a reason, Kristie.
I have an appointment on Feb 1st.
my hubby thanks you all for "making" me make the appointment.
So give him a hug from us...
He really needs one today. He quit his job.
He had an anxiety attack yesterday and decided that was enough. Too much stress.
So I guess...

but

too.
Hugs to both of you, Kristie.
Sounds like you're both doing what you need to. I'm so glad you were able to trace your patterns here. (if the A2K search doesn't pick up some stuff, Google does a great search of A2K - i just found a thread i'd been looking for for a couple of days)
Pitter, you better take damn good care of yourself. Thank goodness for the grapevine.
Holy Moses, Pitter. Thats the stuff you read about in the newspapers about Colombia, but it sure sounds different when you tell it about yourself.
Kristie he quit his job? That sounds a little scarey but (mental & physical) health first absolutely.
Dear Diary
Dear Diary
Well neighbors have assured us that the local thugs only want to extort us as they have done with others in the subdivision. For example my closest neighbor was visited a year ago by two guys wearing ski masks who demanded hundreds of dollars or they'd kill or abduct him. He said go ahead kill all three of us (wife and child too) or take this $30 that I have in my wallet. They took the thirty and left. I dunno but it's a tad better than the kidnap scenario. So now they're telling us just install more exterior lighting, fencing, a good security system and...buy some guns and move in. Sheesh!
We'll see. In the mean time we sat down with the caretaker who lives with his wife and two kids in a house on the property and asked him to sign a clause to his six month contract that states they are to have zero visitors on the property. This in response to the fact that relatives, friends and even some gal that gets hit by her husband and we don't know who all else, all troop up daily and often spend the night on our property. One result of all this foot traffic is that bad guys know all about our house and what's in it. The problem is the former owners used the house only on weekends so Marco and Amparo were lord and lady of the manor all the rest of the time and ran the property as their own. The former owners are very wealthy and paid all of Marco's utility costs including electric, phone and gas. The house he lives in is rent free as is the custom here for "mayordomos" (caretakers). This on top of the standard monthly wage and health insurance. So for "mayordomos" they were quite spoiled and this went on for eight years. (This is the same wage by the way that most people in the city recieve and they pay their rent and utilities). In any case he signed reluctantly as Amaro went on about how very difficult this will be. The rule is from now on they visit their visitors instead.
Another thing we inherited was a small flock of pigeons who coo loudly on the bedroom roof. My wife likes to sleep late and for my part I don't want pigeons mixed in with my parrots and toucans so Marco trapped a couple for me and I brought them down to the city about twenty miles from the "finca" and let them go in a park. In less than an hour they were back on the "finca". Thus I learned that all pigeons are homing pigeons. I think I read they have magnetic sensitivity in their little heads that amounts to a compass. So Marco retrapped them and now they're holed up in the guest room here in the city. Today my Indian cleaning lady comes and I suspect she will have an idea for them that doesn't include a return flight.
Pitter, my problems are nothing compared to yours. But thank you for caring.
I hope everything works out for you and you are safe. Take care of yourself! And your wife! Hugs to you!!!!
<<<<<<Pitter>>>>>>>
Thank you Kristie. I'm reminded that seemingly simple decisions often have life changing consequences. Time to go back to "there but for the grace of God go I".
Dear Diary,
This is my first "talking to the computer" post....
I am so bored with my life. I am tired of it. I am just plain tired. The boredom is so bad that it has lead to laziness. I've gotten to the point that I don't even want to bother with doing all the things I should be doing. Like working. Like I should be now. I need a firm proverbial kick in the ass to re-motivate myself but frankly, I just don't have the energy. I used to have a routine on Saturday mornings where I'd clean my house and do the laundry. It was kind of like my time since my hubby would inevitably be sleeping. But now, forget about it. I'd rather laze around. I haven't cleaned my house in a few weeks. Granted, I don't let dishes pile to the ceiling and we pick up but I haven't dusted, vacuumed or otherwise "deep cleaned" in quite a while. And I am almost out of clean underwear. Must make a mental note to do laundry tonight. **sigh** And at work. Ha.
I am so bored I actually submitted a ticket to change my user name. I should have just started a whole new person. Wouldn't that be fun? Hm. Well...I didn't. Just changed my name. Which is probably going to be confusing for a while so I'll have to put my location as "formerly Kristie" so that everyone recognizes me. Then again....maybe I can just drop Kristie off the face of A2K and start anew....hm....no, someone would catch on. All the smartie pants here at A2K.
Anywho, it's not even lunch yet and I am already chomping at the bit to get out of here. **Sigh** Thank god I have a dr. appointment this afternoon. Cuts my day short by 2 1/2 hours here.
