Back in the day that we used telegrams. A son away at college wanted some spending money, so to be frugal to let his Dad know he was very low on funds he sent this telegram. No mon , no fun, your son. The Dad replied. Too bad, so sad, your Dad.

I was about 17 when I first heard that. Now I'm 82.
Not all construction work is equally enjoyable.
For example, enlarging a drilled hole is boring, but
fastening pieces of metal together is riveting.
