I saw the man of my dreams when he stopped in my office almost 30 years ago. He is of French decent, and once I saw him I knew he was the one (just which one, I don't know, but I was swept off my feet). We
have been married for 28 years and I wouldn't change a thing. It's a wonderful thing when you are smitten by a man who actually is a wonderful man, and I am very lucky.

Oh Very Happy

That is so awesome , glitterbag! I envy you!

Lundi matin

Sont venus chez moi
Pour me serrer la pince
Comm' j'étais parti
Le p'tit prince a dit :
Puisque c'est ainsi nous reviendrons mardi.

Hell, I still haven't had time to figure out how to set my radio and have only used it once, I swear to god Laughing

I was without a anything in my old car for over a year and I just pop in a CD when I take my little drives to work and back. It's only 5 minutes away :-D

I don't even know if I get the CBC on there.

I know the french we speak here is slang, but a girl I work with, who went to France says that they were speaking a slang of their own Shocked
I heard him talk to someone today for just a second, but I didn't hear him enough to know if I would have understood <sigh>

He caught me by surprise today when I was moving some pallets and he comes flying around the corner to tell someone something.
He came closer than he ever has and we were both nervous as hell Laughing

I can't believe we are so scared of eachother Laughing

I was doing some thinking and since I know where he hangs out, one night when I'm feeling really gutsy, I could just go there and have a few drinks, which never hurt in the past ;-)

First I need to find that french software this weekend. The program talks, so I can practice with that.

Montana, being somewhat of an expert in French, and the ways of the froggie male in general, I am of the opinion that, even though they spend nine months trying to get out, and the rest of their lives trying to get back in, some may appear a little shy.

What you need to do is to take a deep breath, and break the ice with a little harmless greeting in his own language, to put him at ease.

For instance, when you see him arrive at work, casually stroll past and say something like "Hello, isn't it a nice day, today"

Which in French, is " Bonjour, avez vous un concombre dans votre poche?"

This should make him smile, and give him the correct message that you are interested.

Good luck.
