No Snood, you're the predictable one.

By the way, you should've stopped by the Cabela's in Buda yesterday, we could've had a conversation. Of course, unarmed liberals with a chip on their shoulder might want to avoid the place.

I bet you've never hunted.

While it shouldn't have happened, I bet Cheney never saw him. 90' on a sweep for quail, most shooters would have made the same mistake. Whatdya bet Mr. Lawyer sues after putting himself in the line of fire? Hmmmm?

Earlier in the day Whittington had asked Cheney if he really did authorize Libby to release classified information. Whittington had also commented on the release of other classified information by the WH including the recent claim that they had stopped an attack in LA. Cheney had finally had enough when Whittington said he wouldn't use his cel phone anymore because of the NSA spying.

Cheney was heard to respond after the shooting. "The son of a b**** should have called to let us know where he was. That will teach him."

Just trying out the late night jokes...

This should be good for a couple of months for Letterman and Leno.

Jack Abramoff just got invited to the Crawford ranch again. This time it is to go hunting with Dick Cheney.

only really greedy hunters shoot quail at the height where you could hit someone and why anyone would shoot a quail anyway. Theres a restaurant down on the bay that serves a split quail stuffed with venison sausage and covered with a berry glaze,(actually tastes like meat with pancake syrup over it) But the damn quail is so pitifully small. and theyre probably farm raised.

Quail is good eatin', FM.

...and the really putrid, sickly thing about it is that you're not even kidding. Do you even remember when you became so sold-out?

I gotta disagree, cj. A quail hunter is supposed to know where the other members of his hunting party are at all times, and you don't take the shot unless you know you aren't shooting at a member of your party. That's a general statement, of course, and I don't know all the details of the accident (so maybe there's some facts I'm not aware of that would change my thinking), but I'd put the blame more on Cheney than the other guy.

look, this kind of thing happens and it doesn't make Cheney any more of a dumb **** than it would Bubba the mechanic, but it does make Cheney a dumb **** and that's always delicious.

Hey,

Maybe this will work to take the public's mind off the spying on Americans.

I don't know...........they have now given themselves the power to actually shoot Americans. (sorry, more late-night talk show humor)

The WH just announced the President will meet with Cindy Sheehan. The meeting with the President is scheduled for right after her hunting trip with the Vice President.
