Why is it when a cute man is checking you out, you feel all warm inside and it makes you feel great about yourself. But when an ugly man is checking you out, you think he's a pervert....quit looking at me, freak...

Is it just me? Am I really that vain that I think only nice looking guys can check me out???

when something is attractive to the eye, it is more comfortable to accept.
People, furniture, cars..etc
When it is not, we try to avoid it . When someone is staring at you , it makes it near impossible to mindlessly avoid .

Oh no, I know! I saw a cute guy on the train the other day so I just gave myself an eye-bath. Pity he was staring at the pretty blonde standing beside me the whole time! Oh well! I like looking at Shiney objects (reminds me of something shewolf once said) even if my reflection ain't purdy.

actually I think that when someone you dont find attractive stares at you, it is just a reaction to get angry because you have no control over what you DONT want looking at you.
It isnt about the PERSON so to speak.. it is more about the fact that
1) you dont like them
2) you cant make them STOP

that pisses anyone off.

ok, so think about it this way.
This is sort of a silly analogy but--

Let say you have an office by the window.
Somoene owns a run down piece of **** and their assigned parking space is RIGHT THERE in front of your window.
There it sits , day after day. This ugly, sore spot right in your direction. Facing only you.. all the time.

Tell me that you wouldnt be pissed or upset about that..
and it would be for the exact same reasons.
1) you dont like it
2) you cant stop it.

i want to know what you consider hot. a lot of women call me cute but i've rarely been called hot and i'm a little worried. there is cute, hot, handsome, attractive, i can't tell the difference between them.

Very true. When I was younger I was schooled in the ignoring of the lads-who-are-butt-ugly-and-trying-to-catch-your-attention, but now I'd be entertained if the hunchback-of-Notre-Dame looked my way.

If I catch anyone looking at me for longer than 3 seconds I immediately check my nose and chin for stray bits of food, boogers, or whip out the compact mirror to see if I've unconsciously left pen-marks all over my face again.
