Runnies, actually. The bandages are off and the stitches are out!

I was sitting in the waiting area of Mass general's Hand Clinic. The nurse called my name and I followed her down a hall that had various kinds of examination rooms and such like along the way. Now this nurse was a cute little Asian woman who did her tight pants proud. (I say this purely from the perspective of esthetics, of course.)

As we passed one of the rooms, a piece of equipment made a low whistling noise. She turned around and I could only blurt "It wasn't me!" Fortunately, she laughed.

Fortunately indeed, as it turned out, for she was the one assigned to take out my stitches.

I'm back, had my operation at long last and now recuperating. I hope to be back in fitness regime come the new year.

Weight now 192 lbs so put 5 lbs on, not too bad for no exercise worth the name for the last 2-3 months.

All the best to all here Very Happy

I wish you a swift recovery, hiama.

I've been running 10km each week, swimming a bit and have recently bought a new mountain bike, which should be easier to ride over winter than my road bike.

Signed up for the London Tri 2005, already.

Keep those dominions held, folks - and don't go too crazy over the holiday food fest!

Hi KP,

I think my dominion was cut out together with the other bits !

I will be signing up for the South Coast tri-September time, I marshalled this year as could not compete.

When is the London, that might be a possibility ?

I will also be going for Ironman UK in 2006 with a bit of luck.

If you want to lose 10lbs. just adjust your scale accordingly, you know, work the numbers before you weigh yourself.
Why else would manufactures incorporate a little "adjustment knob" on all scales?
Am I the only person on this thread that uses this method of weight loss?

All I can say is it works for me, and I would like to add, I feel great!

Another really good way is to push down on the cabinet next to where you are weighting yourself---- man, the pounds just fly off.!! And if I can get my other hand on the towel bar I can reach my goal weight!!!

Laughing ROTFLMAO! Laughing Why didn't I think of that! Brilliant!

Why don't the rest of the peolple on this thread use these methods.

From what I can tell, there doing thing's like, avoiding sweets, exercising regularly, not eating before bedtime, that sounds like an awful lot of trouble, and it's time consuming. What are they thinking of ?????????????
