George, there's other ways of getting sore wrists from bicycling than Hiama's 'preferred' method. I used to teach long distance cycling, the leisurely, mosey down the road for eighty miles or so kind of cycling. Every once in a while someone would show up with a mountain bike

, and take it out on an out and back fifty. You put your hands on the grips of a mountain bike and leave them there for four hours or so, and I guarantee, you will have sore wrists. On a road bike you can ride low, ride high, right inside out, ride on the edges----you get the idea.
