I am proud of myself today. I had two pieces of toast for breakfast, and for supper tonight I'm having a piece of baked chicken and some vegetable the husband has cooked. ???
The difference about today though, is I stayed BUSY! Too busy to stop and eat, to busy packing.

OK Miss J, it is going to be great and difficult for me on Monday as you are at a two year low and I am at a two year high. I am SO happy for you and hope it rubs off. I've done it before and WILL do it again.
Noddy-Pretending, ignoring, denying, I do that too and then I have to get dressed for some "event" and want to just stay home...
MMS, Let's get started!
Ade, I gave away all my size 14s five years ago. I bought two pair in December because my 12s were impossible to squeeze into any longer. It was a point I never intended to reach again. It was an awakening (as was the vision of me in them). I had no choice at the time because of some social obligations but Goodwill will get a couple once-used outfits. I've been grumbling about metabolisms and aging and assorted crap on this thread for three years.
Getting dressed for an event and wanting to stay home was precisely the shock therapy I needed to stop grumbling. You can succeed. You know you can.

Yes I do my friend and cheerleader.
I have no one but myself to blame. You have been working very hard and I have been wishy washy at best. That after shower mirror pass can be a killer! I will, I will, I will, get there.

You have some durable microbes.

2 days 8mm done...
Does that cancel out the left over orange chicken I had for breakfast?

I'm reminded of a wisecrack by my mother. She announced, "I've read everything in the library at eye level and I'll either have to stoop or stretch."

2.2 pound loss this week.
Mostly eating less, I haven't gotten many miles in this year.
I typed up a little sign that I put just above the refrigerator handle, it says:

I've found a mylar balloon tied to the handle of the fridge can be quite reproachful.

Down 1.5 over the weekend and 18.5 since Dec 3rd. New low this morning. I'll take care of that at lunch.
Well done, Joe.

Thanks, noddy. It was two fruit days and one food day. Next weekend will probably be a different story.

Odd, isn't it, that we tiptoe around weight loss. Neither one of us are ostensibly supersitious people.
Side benefit of just-in-case medicine. My bathroom scales are now weighing only three pounds light.

Side benefits are always welcome, noddy.
Yesterday's lunch with ASM was great fun. She's terrific (as expected). We'll do it again soon!
Business travel today and tomorrow will mess with goofy eating plans. Vendor-sponsored dinner tonight on a fruit day. I'll see what the options are for large dinner salads. Then I'll try to go minimalist on the three planned meals for tomorrow.
I'll get a trip to the gym in today before my flight and resistance bands are packed for tomorrow.
