Material Girl--

You were warned about Uncle George. Do you want one of his supervised strolls? For starters, he'd probably just flourish a riding crop rather than applying a cattle prod, but I wouldn't count on special treatment.

Osso--

Thanks.

Dag--

Noddy knows everything. Hold your dominion.

It's been a month since we got the new scale and I registered 178.
I'm happy to announce that this morning I weighed 170.

George--

You'll be the most dapper daddy at graduation.

Eight pounds in a month! And all that running!

I'm impressed.

Material Girl--

If you won't follow a good example, Uncle George will follow you.

There's a week off from dance class. I noticed in a day or two that I was missing it, so I've been making a point of getting out to walk at least an extra hour each evening.

Yesterday I walked a total of about 4 hours - the dogs were too tired for an evening walk Shocked

EhBeth--

Bodies get accustomed to being used. If I could only learn to listen...

My weight is stubbornly stuck at just-a-charitable-hair under 117. My sore arm/shoulder/neck has limited motion for nearly a month now--even "normal" motion, but the sharp pain is now medium discomfort.

Forward to springtime!

oooohhhh -- congrats to George!!

The candy holidays are over. It's pretty smooth sailing between now and next Halloween when the candy fests start up again.

My travel season is in full swing, however. I weigh less today than I did last Tuesday, but more than I want to before I leave in two weeks for New Orleans. 170 would be nice, but I'm out of town this weekend and two other dinners out are on the agenda between now and the 24th.

I had a good workout at the club yesterday and will go back again today for round two.

ehbeth -- four hours? Wowsah!

noddy -- hoping your medium discomfort disappears soon.

MG -- WTG! keep it up, you're on a roll.

I went to London last friday, admittedly got taxis when I was in there but I walked home from the station which was 45 minutes in the sun.
I also put the tramampoline in the garden yesterday and had a jump for a little while.

I have a Memorial Service to attend tomorrow. The temperatures are finally springlike, so I unearthed my summer clothes. Everything of suitable solemnity is just a bit too big--which is much more attractive and heartening than everything being a bit too snug.

My sore arm/shoulder and I did an hour's worth of gentle raking, gentle weight-bearing exercise.

My scales definitely read 116--four pounds to go.

All things are possible in springtime.
