The final April weigh-in is tomorrow? Shocked

I won't beat mac11, but she'll be within matchin' territory.

More pants (and other clothing bits) are going to Goodwill or someplace similar tomorrow.

the verdict's in

another 4.5 - 5 pounds for the month - depending on which way I lean (definitely the up and down side of a non-digital scale)

so, not bad, but not my target

grrrrrrrrrr

better luck next month - when there will be more good veggies available to roast and grill

In preparation for a new start tomorrow, I took a short walk today (Sunday Driver's are a nuisance), made an enormous no-lettuce, keeps-well salad, and organized my food diary.

May 1st is a Monday--a double-omened day for a Good Start.

Good Morning, All.

It's a good thing I worked so hard at the beginning of April because, despite running every morning while on vacation, here are the results:

April 1 207.8
May 1 207.7

Joe--

At least you realize there is some connection between sunset and the scales.

New month new start

exactly. :-)

I was sort of frustrated when I jumped back on the scale to find it truly didnt move. Not even an ounce
Then I realized, I didnt take on the extra work and exercise until almost the 15th.
I have been working harder lately, with longer hours and spending more time outdoors chasing bean around. Wich is a GOOD amount of activity itself.

So, Im thinking about it this way.. I didnt give this entire month 100% so why do I expect 100% on the scale?

So, begining this month, I am keeping the work load I have, and I am opening up my schedule one more day ( tuesday nights ) so that I work 6 days a week now. For a minumim of 3 hours at a time, I am sweaty and exhausted by the time I am done.

Couple that with the small changes I have made to my diet, I should see the 5lbs ( and then some) loss by the end of the month.

Not yet, I need to pull some thoughts together and upload some of the pictures we took on a tour of the 7th, 8th, and 9th wards. I'll put something on North America when I get it down. We loved the New Orleans of old and it's still a wonderful city, but it's not like it used to be.

We managed to eat, drink, and be merry to the tune of about 8 added pounds, 2.5 of which are already gone. Mr B and I will celebrate our anniversary on Friday night. The folks coming to Chicago this weekend will just have to meet the larger version of me.

Me you too, mac. No, we won't be there Friday night. I'll be driving down Saturday morning for the duration and then again on Sunday. Mr B has been invited to attend but my guess is that he will pass. He's a true introvert and very uncomfortable in a group of 'strangers'. I'm extroverted enough for both of us so we complement each other well.

I'm back in the '7s', barely. I seem to be a constant mode of fest and recovery.
