cheeeeeeessseee cake.
yes YES orgasim on the end of a fork.
I have learned, if you want to REALLY know if what you are eating is HEALTHY.. look at the people who are buying it.
Same for a restaurant.
Customers body's reflect the foods content.
(strange train of thought.. but hey! )
mmmmm, good idea. You can buy it in little mini squares too. It's more expensive but it's built in portion control.
small squares?
are you mad ? that is a PORTION.. thats a sample!
Cheesecake is evil. Orgasms are heavenly.
ha.
i miss-typed my responce above.
( see what thinking about cheese cake does to me?

)
I ment to say that IS NOT a portion, but just a sample.
>sigh<
not so funny when ya gotta explain your self..
putting earplugs in, covering my eyes, repeating loudly:
ALL I CRAVE IS SALAD! ALL I CRAVE IS SALAD!
...nnnnope, it don't work.
I am SO BORED with my workout now and just going through the motions. Gotta get a new routine.
The party's over. I managed to barely stay in the '70s and mission one begins Today!
Day One for me too.
This is the first day of my life
Swear I was born right in the doorway
I went out in the rain, suddenly everything changed
They're spreading blankets on the beach
Yours is the first face that I saw
I think I was blind before I met you
Don't know where I am, don't know where I've been
But I know where I want to go

The Total Body Trainer by Jake was/is wonderful but I'm bored with it and now I'm looking at buying a ProForm 650 Elliptical.
Any advice? Yays or nays?
I'm thinking that the key is having two pieces of equipment and rotating at the onslaught of boredom. Makes sense?
Alternating is a great idea, eoe. It keeps the interest level up. Before buying a large piece of equip that ends up in a future garage sale, have you checked out healthclub rates in your area, or are you only interested in at-home workouts?
My plan-o-the-month:
Daily: 5 min warm-up (bike or treadmill), strength training (15 mins), 15 min cooldown (bike or treadmill)
Monday: back (4X12), chest(4X12), quads (2X12), hamstrings (2X12)
Tuesday: abs (4X12), shoulders (4X12), calves (2X12), butt (2X12)
Wednesday: biceps (4X12), triceps (4X12), inner and outer thighs (2X12 each)
Thursday: back (2X12), chest(2X12), quads (4X12), hamstrings (4X12)
Friday: abs (2X12), shoulders (2X12), calves (4X12), butt (4X12)
Saturday: biceps (2X12), triceps (2X12), inner and outer thighs (4X12 each)
Added cardio: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - 30 mins added bike or treadmill with hill intervals.
Diet: Three meals with complex carbs, protein, quality fat in each meal. Two snacks of fruit/nuts. 8 glasses water/cranwater.
And.... I'm OFF!
At-home works best for me.
That sounds like an intense plan you've got there. Follow it and you should do well.
It's not too bad really. 12 total sets of 12 using alternating opposing muscle groups so there's no rest between the individual sets. Taking a few seconds to transition to the next exercise it only takes about 15 minutes total. Mr B is addicted to working out so he pushes me to join him when I'm not in the mood.
I try to walk outside as much as I can so the extra cardio on three days is a nice break from the indoor stuff. This time of year I tend to go to the gym more because I'm getting wimpy about the cold.
The only thing I know about elliptical machines is that they bother my knees. I can't do stair climbers either but some people find the ellipticals easier on their knees than stairs.
Pain and opiates yesterday.
Three pound "gain" today--but the pain is gone.
Monday weigh in: 129.
Ouch!
I'm glad you're feeling better today, Noddy.
J_B--
Pain free is blissful. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
Feel better Noddy.
Anyone know anything about the ProForm 650 Elliptical? The price is good, less than 300.00, but is it a decent piece of equipment?

I haven't heard anything about it, but I'd be mucho skeptical at that price.
boxing today for the first time after a full month. felt goood. though i could feel the month of being out of the loop, i could still swing a pretty mean left hook. i'll feel my entire everything tomorrow, but it's a good kind of pain.
luckily didn't gain weight over x-mas even though i thought/felt i did, just lost some muscle and felt sluggish. being good, eating healthy, no alcohol for the next month (maybe very very occasionally some wein spritzer). hurrah.
i love ellipticals - that's the only machine where i can last for an hour and not be bored to tears. can you test it, or is it a catalogue item?
Dak--
Go shove a glacier--gently, mind. Global warming takes its toll.
