HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!
I felt self-righteous today after jogging the cold. Well, not really all that
cold, but it took some will power to suit up and hit the road.
Fell victim to eggnog (with extra "nog") last night.
'Tis the season...
Way to go, shewolf! I think I have more energy now that it isn't miserably hot.
I'm beginning to wonder how much longer I can handle water aerobics though. It was 55 degrees this evening when I got to the Y. The pool is heated but outdoors... The few others in the class are ten to twenty years older than me, so I feel like a wimp complaining! The water is lovely though, once I get used to it. I still say it beats sweating anyday.
egads, i second that. a pool outside!
back after a ten day splurge. was in boston, couldn't miss chowder, fish n chips, beer, more beer, still more beer....
no carbs saga for at least two weeks before the christmas thing hits with full force begins today. boxing, too. hoorah.
I had last week off and tried ot eat healthily, I had noodles, chicken, fish and veg most days.
I decided to weigh myself at a proper machine in a high street chemists.
I went to London the next day and walked for aroun 4 hours, the next day I weighed myself again and Id put on a pound!!!
Admittedly between the good food I ate crisps n the odd bit of chocolate but Im glad i did it and I love my new chicken.noodles/veg dish!!
I am 12st 5lbs.
<record-keeping: I'm wearing a pair of pants today that I haven't been able to get into for almost exactly 3 years - apparently there's hope!>
Material Girl--
Every scale is different, particularly when you're wearing street clothes (as in heavy coat?).
EhBeth--
Very satisfactory progress. Have you tossed a pair of Fat Pants yet?
Dak--
We live in very different universes.
Too much late-evening munching of late.
I will NOT have a sugar-laden snack tonight!
<brrrrr>
I'm staying inside today where it's toasty and warm, although the furnace is running constantly.... I am down a bit from yesterday so I'm not going to complain. I'm trying hard to stay warm by putting layers on the outside rather than on the inside.
Congrats to ehbeth on wearing three year old pants! There's definately hope.
Good on George, Shewolf, Dag and Mac for working out.

3 pairs went to Goodwill about a month ago. Another 3 pairs are in the little stack being prepared for Goodwill. I'm glaring at another coupla pairs - wanna let them know they're on their way out.
The fat pants are still in the closet.
(Does this show failure of resolve?)
Do it, George!
Do it.
The fat pants have to go.
Then you've got nowhere to go but the next size down.
But...
But...
Some are still almost new...
And...
And...
Maybe they could be taken in...
Or...
Or...
What if they shrink...
Wash 'em, and take 'em to the tailor.
Or make a nice nice nice charitable donation.
You can do it!
Just DO IT, George. Then every time you can't breath in the only pants you still own you'll know it's time to get back on the diet wagon. I've been fluctuating between too tight and just right in my skinny pants for two years now. Once the fat pants are gone you'll have a whole new meaning of motivation.
Yeah!
The best part about the pants I have on now is that they fit comfortably. It wasn't an ohmygodifidon'tbreathetodayi'llbeok fit when I put them on this morning.
Which means I've got to identify the next pair of target pants.
The target dress has already been designated.
WTG, ehbeth!
I was down to wearing one pair of jeans and one pair of stretch sweatpants last week. I thought about giving in and buying something one size up but I vowed when I gave them all to the Salvation Army that I wouldn't let myself go back there. It's my forced penance.
<Sigh>, if only I didn't like food so much.
