lol Slappy!

Thanks everyone. It's pretty damn exciting to me.

I did realize it was coming off, shewolf, but losing it so gradually it's weird how I don't feel very different. I don't look much different to myself in the mirror. My clothes are loose - lots of stuff gone to Goodwill. My eating habits have changed and I'm getting more exercise, but it's all been very small changes. It sort of happens while you're figuring out the system. If I eat the amount I'm supposed to, I lose weight. And especially at my starting weight, it's plenty of food. They don't want you to be hungry.

ok
honesty here.

I have not exercized in over 2 weeks
and i have no reason for it.
I have used everything for an excuse not to.
Im stuck in my old habits again and can see it plain as day, yet i sit here, and dont do anything about it.

I have not gained any weight back, but that is only a matter of time i guess..
Im not feeling depressed, there isnt anything BAD going on , in fact, things are quite peaceful, but..

here i sit.

>sigh<

Still at 176.

Had to come into work this morning,
but I plan to get a little hiking in later on.

Hey, SheWolf, come out and play with me!

I'm sorry to hear you're in a rut, shewolf. I wish I were in Austin so you and Bean and I could go for a stroll!

reporting progress. i managed to lose the worst of the blubber (ok, well, it wasn't that tragic) and am starting to like myself. returning pants from years ago, wearing clothes that are shaped for humans instead of potato-sack sweaters... 5 to 10 more kilograms to go and i'll be fully happy.

i hate when these ruts happen.
i guess they happen to everyone though right?

I have a long job this afternoon. It is going to be alot of work. That will jumpstart me I tell ya.

3 1/2 hours of a huge home where they now dont do dishes ( that is what im hired for) and i only go once a week.

so i have a weeks worth of cleaning to do.
Im going to step up the pace this afternoon and use it as an intro back to working my hind end off..

Wow, I'm sure you're getting plenty of exercise with your cleaning jobs. If I had that to face, I wouldn't want to go exercise either!

11/18 R/CP 71:00 5.2

The above jibberish is my running/walking log for this week (18.9 miles total). T stands for treadmill, W =walking, R=Running. Trp= Tryon Park (mostly hills) Cp is Central Park, rolling terrain. St= Street of New York (My least favorite) Sp=Speed on the treadmill and is about equal to miles per hour.

I go to Central Park in the morning to run six miles in preparation for 10K on December 11. I've bet myself a steak I can do it in less than 71 minutes.

I'm avoiding red meat in solidarity with Mr. Noddy's Kind-to-Kidneys diet, but I'll celebrate with breast of chicken.

Go, Joe!

Does Mr noddy like teas?

if you have a store around that lets you get some loose herb, try getting some Dandelion root, and milk thistle.

they dont have strong tastes.. but they do have a 'wierd' flavor that is eased with some honey .

make them very light.. about 1 tablespoon of loose herb to each 3 coffee cup size servings.

The easiest way to make it, would be to full up a coffee pot with water and run that through your coffee maker.
Put the loose herb directly in the coffee pot and let the water steep it that way.
Then , just strain it out and have 1 cup of it a day.

Shewolf--

Mr. Noddy is diabetic and very, very conservative about his eating habits. He should be watching is protein intake as well as salt, potassium and calcium.

I'm watching. He's forgetful. Maddening.

Noddy: Do what my friend H. did. She got a copy of her husband's life insurance policy and would bring it to the dinner table every night. That got his attention for awhile. After a few weeks though, he started backsliding and she....

.....started reading it aloud.
