Birdseed can be inspiring, but obviously it does nothing positive for my math or my logical prose.

Still, I'm sure that there was a November when I weighed 25 pounds....long, long ago.

What did you do instead of the gym?

Going to be tough getting in the gym tonight...too many carbs last night Drunk

Gotta do it though, haven't missed a workout in a couple of months now.

Fifth day of exercise! Gym today - just bicycle and treadmill and some sort of weird machine that pou walk on but it is different and a lot harder. Owie!

I wish pick-up b-ball was still an option for me. That was the single best workout, not least because I'd have a terrible time leaving -- just ONE more game! -- and end up playing for 3 hours, every day.

Hehehee, thanks Noddy!

I spent yesterday carrying boxes down three flights of stairs and sprinting back up them. Then yesterday evening being a jungle gym for my neice. This morning I spent a couple hours unloading the moving truck.... I'm exhausted.

Debs-I think that is what the great Gautam calls an elliptic, I think its a cross trainer or skier -am I right ?

Uh-oh....I think I'll be missing my first workout in a long time. Triceps/biceps day scheduled for today. Went out last night for a couple of beers, however my bad-influence friends decide buying multiple shots would be a good time. I've been drinking water all day, stil dehydrated, just feel like crap. Maybe I can get in tomorrow..again, depends on tonight's journey.

Ok so the main session of the week went as follows:-

Walked to the gym- 15minutes
30 minutes light weights and machines (2 x 15 reps on each)
5000m on rower-21 mins
4 miles on treadmill in 34 mins 10 secs - improvement of nearly 2 mins on last week, then warm down for 5 mins
Walk home from gym-15 mins

Total about 1000 calories- result knackered but sanctimonious Very Happy

6 miles on treadmill in 54 mins-warm down 6 mins
Wlak hoem 15 mins

best way to be on a diet is to be at my boyfriends' mothers house. they eat like birds, walk nonstop, want to jog and play tennis and whatnot. i am starving, but suntanned, yay!

Update from hiama's gym buddy

I spent two days, thu and fri - in an offsite strategy conference which was tough bloody work - we worked from 0800-2100 and then drank like fish. So no gym, but made up with not eating food - it was uneatable anyways. By Fri evening, I had come down with major flu - high fever and blocked nose, so weekend was spent in bed feeling miserable - actually, I was so miserable that I went to the shops and di dsome retail therapy to perk me up.

Back to the gym today - I think real life is interrupting a bit too much Sad
