Way to go Gautam, I'm planning on treadmill today-aiming for 40 minutes and see how far I manage to go !
Welcome Joe
Welcome Joe!!
Thanks Hiama - the threat of letting the bunny loose on me really worked
Vitamin E: "A diet high in ephedrine?" You can't get ephedrine in your diet.
Slappy - sure you can, mormon tea (ephedra) is where the chemical comes from.
Unless you eat loads of headache medication. Plenty of ephedrine there. hmmm, tempting, very tempting, but no, i think i will stick with my food.

Your trainer is elliptical? I thought he'd be, like, buff.
(Can I say things like that again now that you're a beautiful Indian prince instead of a monk?)

Dahling, if I was on *that* trainer, then do u think it would have been *just* for 20 mins ????
DUH !!
Danny is stunning, he is also very very str8
heeeheee, gautam back in the saddle!
<grin> Can't keep that Gautam down!
Did my 40 minutes yesterday on the treadmill covered 4 miles in 36 minutes , then warmed down.
I set the machine att 6.6 mph and it was comfortable so I'll crank it up to 7.0 mph for Saturday's session, day off today. I think 6 sessions in 8 days is enough, don't want to over do it too much
Good luck guys and guyesses .
Whoa! That is pretty fast for a treadmill, Hiama! Well done!
I had one - but it was too big for my apartment - and they are very pricey to buy again - I mean a smaller/foldable one.
I come in, dripping with sweat, to proclaim that I HAVE exercised for the last four days - building up to an hour's worth of walking (briskly) today and yesterday!
better watch out for ephedrine. way back when i was a very serious gym rat ephedrine and other "stackables" were considered safe. studies show that may not be the case anymore.

slappy, do you use vanadyl sulfate or/and creatine? imo, great stuff.
Day off today from the gym-yippee !!!
Okay, sooooo it's been miserably cold here (NYC) so I haven't been doing my walk from the subway routine. (wimp) I HAVE been skipping the early morning apple fritter and only eating half my usual sandwich. (Ordering in New York requires that one ask for something not on the menu or prepared in an usual way: "I'd like roast beef on an onion bagel, no mustard, no mayo, no dressing and please make half to eat here and wrap half to go." Long sigh from counterman. "Zalt and peeper?" "Yeah" )
one week loss: 2/10 of a pound !!! Where are those fireworks?
Better next week. Walk, walk walk.....
joe
there were three "stackable" component's and ephidrine was one of the three.
i thought that it looked a little strange so i didn't take them. vanadyl sulfate was my "drug" of choice. matabolically vanadyl worked for me. creatine did also but not as well as advertised. but together, they worked pretty good. don't take anything now except for multi-vitamins. and of course beer for carbs
You're talking about the ECA stack: Ephedrine, caffeine, and asprin. The most effective over the counter fat-loss supplement. Of course a few people have died from it, but hey...I love the stuff. Gives a great energy boost.
Vanadyl? Never touched it. It's a really outdated supplement that's never been proven to do much, from studies or real-world. But if it works for you, then why not? I do use creatine, not too sure if it does anything for me, but it's pretty cheap now. I was in the habit, but fell out of taking Vitamin C, E, B6, zinc+magnesium. Plus I use 3 meal-replacement powders a day during the week, which has a ton of vitamins+minerals.
I carried a 25 pound sack of black oil sunflower seed in from the car and thought, I weighed that much last November.
Birdseed can be inspiring.
