This shows that dieters die earlier than those who stay fat. Yay!!

Clary, going up and down many times during a lifetime would, logically, be very difficult for one's body. Vanity, however, causes me to continue to try, but sensibly, not drastically.

Doing better yesterday and today. Maybe having an upset stomach had something to do with it?

Congrats to all who have been sticking to it.

WTG, Sanctuary!

175.5 today. Off to the pool, then health club with Mr B, then I need to haul boxes out of my office and move them to storage, then I'm going to collapse in a heap.

<groan>

I had talked with my friend Bill night before last and he invited me to go
canoeing with him yesterday evening. It looked like other commitments
would prevent that so I did a shoulder workout at lunch, planning to call
and cancel. Before I could do so, the commitments disappeared.

So Bill and I canoed from Pope's Landing in Danvers, down the river,
under the Beverly-Salem Bridge, out into Beverly Harbor and back.

Thought I was gonna die.

My shoulders are unhappy with me today.

Great exercise, though, and lots of fun to be out on the water on a
summer's evening.

i am still hanging in at 169. stuck there i think. i am battling some back pain that i can't get rid of with anything (lower back-general pain). plus i must be pmsing because my emotions are completely whacked. i have decided that i need to move back to austin where i can potentially make more money and pay less for a house. but can't leave my mom...struggling...ugh!

here's to hoping my brain functions well enough again. no exercise today, but eating has been good. low sugar yogurt for breakfast, salad with grilled chicken for lunch.

My mom is elderly and living in an assisted living place here.
I know how you feel.
I'm not leaving here anytime soon.

Luckily, I like New England. Most of the time.

Wow, Noddy. Good for you. Sorry to hear about your impending stress.

Ay - I'm sorry things are so down for you. I wish I was there to make you a cup of tea. Who will be there with you after the boyz leave?

6 week weigh in: <sigh>....

I'm about to give in to middle age and eat a box of bon bons. Wait, I don't like candy. If I'm going to give in to it then I'm going to do it with something I enjoy. I'll have to give this some thought. In the meantime I'm going to go do some exercises.... old habits die hard.

6 week weigh in:

beginning weight: 180
current weight: 167
total loss: 13lbs
this week: 2lbs

finally, lost some weight for the week. i have been having low back pain and left side pain up under my ribs. probably reducing the amount i eat since it hurts worse after i eat. gotta look at the silver lining right?
